Developer Passtech Games has announced that the next playable character coming to co-op roguelike game Ravenswatch will be Sun Wukong. The updated is slated for release on November 16, and was announced with a teaser for the new character.
Sun Wukong, being an incredibly confident character, is not afraid of danger. In terms of gameplay, the character is equipped with abilities that allow him to dart from enemy to enemy swiftly. The character also has a unique parrying mechanic, as well as different stances to switch between.
In terms of story, Sun Wukong became arrogant because of his immortality, but ultimately losing his powers made things worse, turning him bitter and prone to letting his darker emotions get the better of him.
Ravenswatch was announced earlier this year, and was released back in April as an early access title. The game currently has seven playable characters, each taking inspiration from classic fairy tales and mythological stories.
