Rare Nintendo 64 controller to sell for around £1,000

The publisher of the promising RoboCop: Rogue City has quietly cancelled the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

3.5 million video games were sold across the UK last month, a slight rise of nearly 1% over the year before (GSD data).

In an insane twist of fate absolutely no one saw coming one of the most niche but utterly charming DS titles is making its fantastic return to the west at last. This series made its debut on DS where the first two titles managed to see localization but the third entry on 3DS never did. Those who have kept up with the franchise know that it’s seen a slew of spin-offs over the years including the previous released Funghi Explosion for Nintendo Switch. This trilogy will include all the side games on DS featuring Funghi in addition to slews of concept art, comics and more fun little bonuses for players to check out. The biggest reveal by far is simply that the third entry will be available in English for the very first time so those who have been in love with the series since the DS era will finally be able to see how this story concluded.

The Shiren series has long been a niche one even among the Mystery Dungeon titles. The newest title, Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island was originally announced as coming to Japan with no word on a localization. Fortunately fans no longer need to worry as we’ve finally gotten our confirmed English release for the title to make a splash onto Nintendo Switch next year. The new art style is no longer sprite based and instead entirely 3D models rather akin to the recent Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake we had a few years back. This charming new take on Shiren seems absolutely packed full of life and is promising to bring back the classic gameplay and challenge that so many knew and loved it for.
