Another testing session is scheduled for the coming weekend, this time on all platforms, so you've got another chance yet to jump in.

Khayl Adam is the second best video game journalist Australia has ever produced, and his ambitions of world domination have (thus far) been curbed by the twin siren songs of strategy games and CRPGs. He has always felt an affinity for the noble dachshund, the best kind of dog.
Modern Warfare 2 has a game breaking bug that blocks the campaign from being completed and they haven't bothered to patch it. This bug has been known for over a year, probably even since launch.
I won't be touching this game or any that follows it.
@JohntheRaptor What's it do? I finished the story when it first released. Wanting to play through it again to see if I can get the plat.
Got to say I enjoyed the beta! Reminds me of Cold War as it feels fast. Got to level 20 on sat night, but not played since. So not sure if they increased the level cap or not.
@Nexozi Nope it was still capped at level 20 as I played to 20 last night.
Enjoyed what i played was nice to play on the maps from many many moon's ago hopefully we get some of the original MW3 maps (or are they saving those for a Blops2 re-release/remaster or something daft), i actually preferred MW3 over 2 back in the day, this isn’t the MW3 of old though i still enjoyed what i played.
@Pixel_nme Ah that's OK then. Hopefully the levels will reset or increase with each test. Last multiplayer I enjoyed was Cold War. Had been trying to skip and just wait for Treyarchs next game. Though glad I played it now as it does have a Cold War feel to it. The classic maps are usually better than the newer ones.
It's hilarious that this game will came out after Activision will be part of Microsoft and PlayStation users will still have

Lords of the Fallen is this week's Souls-like, hot off the grimdark presses, and we enjoyed our time with the game, awarding it 7/10 in our review. If you've been anticipating this one, you'll be glad to know that it launches fairly imminently, depending on what part of the world you call home, and preload is now live on PS5.
Developer Larian Studios hasn't taken the foot off the gas since Baldur's Gate 3 launched, pushing out the second hotfix of the week and the ninth since the game launched on PC at the start of August, with those coming to the PS5 iteration, which launched in September. That's in addition to three full patches, the most recent of which (amongst many other things) improved PlayStation performance, as well as introducing the character-editing Magic Mirror.
Long Gone Days is a turn-based RPG with visual novel elements that explores the horrors of modern war, and it's out today on PS5 and PS4. It's been in development for years, with a demo first emerging on PC back in 2016.
Where does the time go? Asterigos: Curse of the Stars was released a year ago, and, fittingly enough, just got a meaty patch in the form of a free Anniversary Update, and we've got the trailer to prove it.
Windjammers 2 was released in 2022, and we were big fans of the excellent sequel to the 1994 classic. Developer Dotemu has just pushed out a big free update, introducing new characters, modes, and online features for frisbee enthusiasts to enjoy.
Lords of the Fallen's release is imminent, and while we aren't there quite yet, we have a new trailer to tide us over in the meantime. Prepare to die or something like it from 13th October on PS5.
Warm Snow is an action roguelike, a simpler game in the style of Hades, and like it, puts its story front and centre. It's coming to PS5 and PS4 on 20th October, and we got an animated story trailer to help set the scene.
Persona 5 Tactica takes the mainline Persona 5 combat and turns it on its head, eschewing the stylish yet traditional JRPG format for crunchier SRPG fare. Thankfully, the adorable Sergeant Morgana has put together a series of instructional videos so that you can get up to speed as quickly as possible once Tactica launches on PS5 and PS4 next month, on 17th November. You can check out the latest episode of the P5T Marvelous Tactical Training Series above and previous lessons in the trailers below.
Zombie RPG Dead Island 2 is getting reanimated, and somewhat imminently, as its first expansion, «Haus», has been announced for a 2nd November release on PS5 and PS4. We got a brief glimpse of what's in store in some gameplay, courtesy of Gematsu.
Laika: Aged Through Blood is a Western-inspired «motorvania», a fast and agile vehicular platformer set in a savagely beautiful post-apocalyptic world. The sidescrolling trick shooter is coming to PC imminently and confirmed for PlayStation platforms «soon» after.
Wizard with a Gun is a game about practitioners of the arcane arts who also acknowledge the usefulness of firearms, and it's coming to PS5 fairly imminently. We got a gameplay trailer that highlights some of the magical co-opportunities players can look forward to on 17th October.
