Can you believe Rocket League is up to its 12th season? The ever-popular arcade game is still plugging away with regular updates, and the latest season begins today, 6th September. This time around, the free-to-play Soccar game is going rogue with hacker-themed content.

Mortal Kombat 1’s full character roster has leaked approximately two weeks before release, with an errant Nintendo Switch cartridge somehow finding its way into a fan’s hands. Mandragora is a 2.5D sidescrolling action RPG set in a dark fantasy world, featuring a painterly art style and a stamina-based combat system. It dodge-rolls its way onto PS5 in 2024.

An unexpected fourth instalment in the Train Sim World franchise will coast to PlayStation consoles starting 26th September, as Dovetail Games has announced a sequel to its popular rail simulation series. The game – which promises a “train load of new features” – aims to leverage the creativity of players, by incorporating new photo mode and sandbox options.

There aren’t many developers not named FromSoftware making compelling Souls-like experiences, but Hexworks may be about to overcome that challenge with Lords of the Fallen.
