As is often the case, the folks at PlayStation have released a hype video for the new year, showcasing some of the games that will be arriving on PS5 in 2024. In addition to generally being a fun watch, the trailer also essentially confirms 2024 releases for a number of games that hadn’t solidified a release window yet, including Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the Silent Hill 2 remake, and Firewalk Studios’ mysterious PvP shooter Concord. Rumors of Metal Gear Solid remakes have done the rounds for years. In 2021, Bluepoint Games was rumored to be working on “several” remakes in the acclaimed stealth action series. While Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was finally announced by Virtuos after many rumors, it seems a remake of the first game is still in development.
