PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members have 13 new games to play as of today. The March 2024 additions to PS Plus offer a fairly balanced mix of modern and classic titles.
Sony's gaming subscription service rotates its catalog on the third Tuesday of every month. Its latest update prior to today happened on February 20, when PS Plus Extra and Premium added four Tales games and nine other titles.
Another 13 games are now available to Sony's subscribers as of March 19. Eight of those are offered across both the Extra and Premium tiers of the service, with that list comprising Blood Bowl 3, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, LEGO DC Supervillains, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Mystic Pillars: Remastered, NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition, Super Neptunia RPG, and the Resident Evil 3 remake. Meanwhile, those paying for the $18-a-month PS Plus Premium subscription can now also play another handful of classics: Cool Boarders, Gods Eater Burst, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, JoJos Bizarre Adventure AllStar Battle R, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy.
None of these arrivals should come as a surprise to fans, as Sony has already announced all March 2024 additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium last week. That occasion also saw the Japanese group reveal that Season 1 of My Hero Academia would be available to PS Plus Premium subscribers starting April 1. The inaugural season of the popular anime series will be delivered via the Sony Pictures Core app. The freebie will be available globally, with the exceptions of Spain and Japan.
As per usual, this month's game catalog update also includes some outgoings. Specifically, Code Vein, Civilization 6, Ghostwire: Tokyo, Haven, Outer Wilds, Tchia, and NEO: The World Ends With You have all left the PS Plus Extra and Premium libraries as of today. With seven departures and 13 arrivals, the March 2024 catalog rotation has still been a net positive for Sony's subscription platform, as is normally the case. Aside from new titles to play, this month's PS Plus bonuses also include the Fortnite Blazin' Wheels Pack, which users can currently claim at no extra cost.
Sony's subscribers who haven't already done so should make sure to claim their free games for March 2024. Specifically, F1 23, Hello Neighbor 2, and Sifu are all available to claim until April 1, as is The Witch Queen expansion for Destiny 2. The free PS Plus games for April 2024 are expected to be announced on March 27.
