Portal 2's game-sized prequel mod squeezes in 40 new puzzles, fully-voiced original characters, and an 8-hour story

Baldur's Gate 3 has taken home Game of the Year at this year's New York Video Game Critics Circle 2024 New York Game Awards, as well as an award for Best Writing.

With The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered out in the wild, many steely survivors are likely reliving the game's most heartbreaking cutscene. But one modder has now made that scene playable in a clip that's both cathartic and even more brutal. (Spoilers ahead.)

is an upcoming RPG from the mind of Akira Toriyama, creator of and longtime character designer for the series. It's based on a 14-chapter manga originally released in 2000, but it's not the only upcoming adaptation: following a CGI film last year, there's also a streaming series scheduled for late 2024. The manga and film have all the hallmarks of Toriyama's work: singular character design, off-the-wall humor, and epic battles.

Though Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's epilogue event didn't reveal much in terms of lore, a video separate from the games themselves explores the full story behind the new mythical Pokemon introduced in the Mochi Madness event. Fans of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will need to own the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC if they want to obtain the mythical Pecharunt for themselves, though the event to encounter it requires players to redeem the Mythical Pecha Berry mystery gift first.
