Following the end of the Charizard Tera Raids,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet revealed that the upcoming Tera raid event will feature Iron Hands and Brute Bonnet in Five-star battles in their respective versions. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will have a chance to catch a Paradox Pokemon with a random Tera type and farm some rewards for their efforts.
The announcement of these Paradox Pokemon Tera raids came just shortly after the end of a rematch against Charizard the Unrivaled. The Flame Pokemon returned to the spotlight as part of a Pokemon Day gauntlet of Seven-star Tera Raid battles against the Kanto starter trio, with Venusaur and Blastoise going before Charizard the Unrivaled. With the Dragon-type as its Tera type, this Charizard was previously featured in a Seven-star Tera raid battle shortly after Pokemon Scarlet and Violet launched. But, players quickly developed strategies to finish Charizard the Unrivaled with a single strike, leaving the Flame Pokemon with few opportunities to fight back.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players will soon have another opportunity to bolster their teams, as Brute Bonnet and Iron Hands will take center stage in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet respectively, in Five-star Tera raid battles. The battles begin on Thursday, March 21, at 8:00 PM Eastern and end on Sunday, March 24, at 7:59 PM Eastern. Both Brute Bonnet and Iron Hands will have random Tera types, much like the previous Paradox Pokemon Tera raid battle event against Flutter Mane and Iron Jugulis. Both Brute Bonnet and Iron Hands will be set to level 75, and have their respective abilities, Protosynthesis and Quark Drive, which activate during Sunny Day and Electric Terrain to boost their top statistics.
Outside of Tera raids, Brute Bonnet is a Grass and Dark Pokemon, and Iron Hands boasts the Electric and Fighting types. These Paradox Pokemon have high HP and Attack stats but low Speed stats. However, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players that bring a team of strong Pokemon with various Tera types to pick from should make short work of Brute Bonnet and Iron Hands. While previous Paradox Tera raids offered rewards such as EXP Candies and Tera Shards of various types, what rewards will drop from this round of Tera raid battles remains to be seen.
Although the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet raids are in the five-star category, players can use this time to stock up on rewards or catch a Paradox Pokemon to trade with a friend. Only time will tell what the future of Seven-star Tera raids will look like.

BitCraft: Age of Automata’s announcement way back in 2021 caused quite the commotion in the IGN community, and I’m not going to lie: I was sceptical. There are tons of Pokémon to catch and evolve in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but few are as quirky as Finizen. This water-type creature can evolve in Palafin — but the process doesn't work like most other evolutions in Scarlet and Violet. Instead of simply bringing them into battle and having them evolve at a set level, there's a very specific action you need to take that'll trigger the Finizen to Palafin evolution. And unless you know how it works, you'll be stuck with Finizen for your entire journey.
