During the Triple-I Initiative showcase, developers confirmed that the incredibly popular pixel-art rogue-lite will be releasing on PlayStation platforms this summer. Vampire Survivors has already been available for purchase on other platforms in some way or another, with versions releasing on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles, as well as on mobile and PC.
Vampire Survivors was first released in 2022 and has since become one of the hottest indie titles to hit the video game world. Players are tasked with defeating a near-endless barrage of enemies, ranging from spooky bats and creepy skeletons to full-fledged boss fights. Players gradually unlock new characters, weapons, and abilities, allowing the carnage to spread even faster. The game has proven to be a big hit among both casual and hardcore gamers, with the Steam Deck version becoming one of the most popular ways to play due to Vampire Survivors lending itself greatly to casual handheld sessions.

Baldur's Gate 3 continues to collect year-end honours as the expansive RPG from Larian Studios took home the top award at the 20th BAFTA Games Awards held in London late Thursday. The Dungeons & Dragons-style RPG was crowned as the Best Game, in addition to winning in four other categories on the night.
