A new PlayStation 5 system software update is now live, introducing improvements for the PULSE Elite wireless headset and Explore wireless earbuds, and more.
System software version 24.01-08.60.00 brings updated device software for the aforementioned headset and wireless earbuds, introducing a sound equalizer feature and the sidetone feature that will make it easier for the user to hear their own voice in voice chats. The new system software update also introduces a new notification system that makes switching Bluetooth connection from PC to PlayStation 5 more convenient than before.

The new PlayStation 5 system software update also introduces a new feature to Parties, showing a list of parties previously joined, improved system software performance and stability, and messages and usability on some screens.
