Pikmin 4 is finally here after a gruelling 10-year wait. It brings all kinds of new and interesting concepts to the series and nails just about everything. This is the gold standard for the series, which is mighty fine praise considering the quality of each entry. Despite all the new gubbins to mess around with, it can be easy to forget the old.
Blue Pikmin make their fourth appearance in the series, although they are not quite as straightforward to find as in other games. There are a number of ways to unlock them, and how/when you get around to doing so will vary based on your playstyle. You can unlock these water-borne carrots pretty early on, providing you have a few things ready to go.

Before you head off on your adventures, you are going to need a few things in hand. Firstly, you need to have upgraded Oatchi to Buff Level 3. This will only cost you 2 Pup Drive and it will allow Oatchi to lift as much as 10 Pikmin.
Secondly, Oatchi needs to learn how to swim. We have a guide on this here, but in short, run Oatchi into any body of water and trigger the drowning cutscene (don’t worry, he’s fine). After two in-game days, you will be informed that Oatchi can now swim.
You will also need a whopping 30 Ice Pikmin. This is easily the hardest part of this method as Ice Pikmin can’t be made – only found. Be sure to explore every Sublevel and nab all the Ice Pikmin you can.
Finally, you need to have a total Pikmin Capacity of 40. The required Flaric are very easy to find just by exploring. You should hit 40 early on in your play experience.
With all of that in hand, it’s time to get yourself some Blue Pikmin.

The cyberpunk future is never going to be a nice place. Life is cheap, corporations dominate all, and the sky is blotted out by spires insulating the rich from those living in the gutters. The transhumanism bit is always a nice perk, of course, but enhanced senses and strength don’t really make up for what’s been lost, especially when upgrades are pricey and money is scarce. Cyberpunk is a techno-nightmare, and every year its horrors are a little less far-fetched. Even so, Johnny Turbo’s chainsaw-leg goes a long way towards making that future at least a little bit attractive.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is heavily based on the 5th edition rules for Dungeons & Dragons, and as a result, the game loves a good stat. Everything is tracked and accounted for, and it all falls away into a vague grey blur that you assume is working correctly. The bigger the number, the better is a safe bet, right?
Hotfix 2 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is now live, and it has unfortunately caused some problems, despite its attempt to fix them. A lot of users are complaining about the game no longer launching, and a few fans on Reddit have come up with solutions that have worked to bypass the issue.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of classes, and a lot of those classes just so happen to be powerful magic users like Druids, Wizards, and even Bards. Whilst many classes share many spells, there are some unique ones scattered here and there. With so many spells to pick from, even at level 1, what do you pick?
The number of potential has reportedly been revealed. It details what to expect from the upcoming DC Studios film.
Minthara is an optional (and evil) party member in Baldur’s Gate 3. She’s a deadly Paladin that wields two blades at once and serves the Cult of the Absolute. To get her to join, you must help her during the Raid the Grove quest and help her completely wipe out the grove. This quest allows you to gain one of two characters — you can either unlock the friendly Druid Halsin or the evil Paladin Minthara. You can’t get both in one playthrough.
Early in Baldur’s Gate 3 you’ll face powerful enemies and difficult encounters. Combat isn’t easy even when you’ve gathered a party of Rogues, Barbarians and Wizards. You’ll need every advantage you can get, and whether you’re leveling up your own Rogue / Ranger or putting one in your party, you may need a few tips to get the most out of sneak attacks. With the right combination of skills, you can attack up to x6 times in a single action. That won’t happen until you’re (at least) Level 8 and only if you’re really serious about min / maxing — even if you want a general build, which is totally viable, you might want to give some of these tricks a try.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is finally here for those lucky few who have a PC. Heck, it’s not far off for those who chose to go down the console route. After years in Early Access, it’s finally time to dive back into the Forgotten Realms and have a proper CRPG experience. It’s bound to be a good time filled with roleplaying goodness.
Do you know what sucks? Death. One day you are living your best life, exploring caves, fighting goblins, and then suddenly, you get stabbed in the face and everything just ends. It’s a bad state to be in, and surely your friends and allies will miss you. Sadly, the power of instant revivification in Baldur’s Gate 3 is pretty far off in the grand scheme of things.
With Baldur’s Gate 3 finally here after years in the Early Access oven, early adopters need to jump through a few hoops if they want the smoothest entry to the full release. Larian Studios have advised that all players not only uninstall their copy of Baldur’s Gate 3 but also delete any saved files.
The developer of Baldur’s Gate 3 has told fans to delete the Early Access version, any save files and mods, and do a fresh install when the hotly-anticipated role-playing game launches proper on August 3.
