Persona 6's Color Scheme Is Green, Confirms Fan Theory

Unless you're incredibly unobservant or color-blind, you should have realized by now that each of the main modern Persona games has a distinct color that runs throughout the entire game, from its marketing all the way down to its UI. Persona 3 hits you with a melancholy blue, Persona 4 is a bright and vibrant yellow, and Persona 5 is bright red, most likely to symbolise danger due to all the low-key crimes you commit.
Persona 6 is going to be no exception, as developer Atlus has finally decided to stop excluding the final primary color and give green its time in the spotlight. This is according to popular Sega insider Midori, who revealed on Twitter earlier today that Persona 6 will have a green color scheme, sending the entire fanbase into meltdown. We have so little information about the title that moments like this need to be cherished.
Not only that, but Midori also seems to have confirmed a couple of the absolutely wild conspiracy theories that made the rounds back when Atlus released a piece of art depicting every Persona protagonist for the series' 25th anniversary.
If you check out the 25th anniversary piece, you'll see every protagonist from across the series stood against a wall that's been plastered with graffiti. All the characters have paint specked on their clothes and are holding painting equipment, suggesting they've done the little ruffians did it themselves. However, a bucket full of green paint quickly drew the eyes of fans, a color that was very out of place and wasn't associated with any of the main characters from the series up to that point.
Due to how out of place it was in the scene, many believed that this was a little tease from Atlus itself to let fans know the next game's color scheme, though it hasn't been officially confirmed just yet. Now that Midori has revealed Persona 6's color scheme, fans were quick to ask whether the bucket theory actually had any substance to it, to which she has revealed that the paint in the bucket will be the shade of green used for the game itself. Theory confirmed.
Now we just need the announcement of Persona 6 to make it official, which is surely set to come sooner rather than later. Midori claimed earlier last year that "all efforts" are currently on the sequel at the moment, despite there being other Persona games currently in development. Since then, we've had the release of Persona 3 Reload and the upcoming release of Persona 5 X, so it wouldn't be too surprising if we get a soft announcement of some kind later this year.
