While Atlus recently launched Persona 3 Reload and still has Metaphor: ReFantazio coming this year (not to mention Episode Aigis), rumors have circulated for a while now about Persona 6. The company has yet to officially reveal it, but leaker Midori reported that it would launch in 2025 and have a semi-open world with “more fluid” Social Links.
Despite initially rumored as a potential PS5 exclusive, Xbox Era co-founder Nick Baker reported it’s also coming to Xbox on day one. NateTheHate reported hearing the same on Spawncast’s Direct Xbox podcast, though he wasn’t 100 percent sure if it’s day and date with the PlayStation version.
Atlus’s recent release cadence would suggest such, but more surprising is Midori confirming the information and revealing that Persona 6 is also coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The “multiple platforms” part could also indicate a PC release.
It wouldn’t be the most surprising development, especially since Metaphor: ReFantazio andPersona 3: Reload are also rumored for the Switch 2. Time will tell, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.
It is correct information. And multiple platforms too.
