Palworld update addresses several bugs and crashes on Xbox and Microsoft Store PC

UPDATE 2.20pm: Xbox Palworld players, your time has come. The below patch, known as version v0.1.1.4 on Xbox, is now available for you as well.

While the hype may have died down slightly, is still pulling in a lot of fans, and the new update for Xbox has been rolling out. Arriving a little after the patch for the Steam version, the game is continuing to see improvements, even if its stock may be starting to fall slightly.

The latest major Palworld update is live, fixing a range of crash and save data bugs while also addressing a glitch which saw your much-abused indentured munsters falling into an eternal slumber when assigned to a Pal breeding farm. I continue to wonder how much of Palworld is deliberate satire.

Mossanda and Mossanda Lux are two Pals you can find and catch in for new additions to your team. Both of these potential companions have excellent fighting skills but are still fairly different from one another. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses you can take advantage of to make them easier to catch.

Pocketpair has just released a new Palworld Patch for PC, packing countermeasures against cheating and bug fixes.

The Pokemon Company seems to plan to "investigate" Palworld over the possibility of copyright infringement.

This inspiring story adds to the game's fast-growing legend that already includes Palworld becoming one of the most successful early access games ever made within days of launching.

Rival survival sims Palworld and the just-launched Enshrouded are now openly battling for hearts and minds on Steam, and here comes genre supremo Valheim out of the blind corner like, errrr, one of the celebrity WWE wrestlers who hasn't turned out to be Problematic - I don't know, maybe Zack Sabre Jr? Following the growing popularity of Palworld, developer Pocketpair has revealed its roadmap for the game. Despite being merely days into launch, Palworld is already a massive hit with its demand showing no signs of slowing down. As the numbers keep piling up, the studio is now offering a glimpse of what players can expect from the game in the coming months.

Even in its early access form, Palworld has attracted a massive audience, selling over 7 million copies and becoming Steam’s second-highest concurrently played game to date, and clearly, the audience that it has attracted has had great things to say about it. As an early access game though, there’s still plenty more to come, and developer Pocketpair has offered a glimpse of what that will entail in a roadmap recently shared on Twitter.
