Since release in January 2024, the game has sold millions of copies, and the franchise is growing more popular by the day. has already received a few updates since the initial release, but the latest buff is actually ruining the player's best items in the game. Despite the newest update fixing minor glitches and bugs, such as Pal's getting stuck on objects and in battle, it is affecting the durability of items.
The Palworld patch 0.1.5.0 was released on February 26th, 2024, and focused on the main areas in the game that needed updating. Base issues, Pals, network, balance adjustments, and player issues are all features that have had updates. However, when it comes to items in the inventory, it is causing issues by not updating current items that players own and is halving durability on them.
In the most recent Palworld update, the game doubled the durability of items. However, when players logged onto ,the durability of items actually got halved, rather than doubled, because the value of the items never got updated — essentially staying the same as before the new update. User Esoup on Reddit explains, ""
Although this may seem like a bad thing, many players are quite happy with this Palworld gear issue, and it may actually be better in the long run. After this patch, players don't lose items; the durability simply goes back to what it was when it was first obtained. Crafting Legendary and Epic items can be time-consuming, as players need to continuously fix and repair items. However, with this patch, Legendary Items now have overall better durability, which makes them more useful in the long run, as collecting the materials required to repair them is often hard to find.
The recent patch has also added some features and fixed other bugs in the game. Some of the elements the update has fixed are improved accuracy with adjacent objects, riding in prohibited hunting will not be seen as a crime anymore, Pals will no longer get stuck in battle or on objects, fewer building restrictions, strengthened mining power, and more minor fixes. Many of the newly added features have been made into adjustable settings to make gameplay easier or harder.
The new patch has some great improvements to improve gameplay. For fans of the game who want to add a little more, there are a variety of mods that can be downloaded. The recent patch will fix issues many players had and be sure to enhance the gameplay experience, especially with the new settings that can be adjusted to make certain aspects of the game easier or harder. Although the double durability remains a problem for many players, many are taking it as a positive, as nothing is necessarily lost; it just returns to the original build.

Amiibo collectors are in limbo right now as the future of Nintendo's interactive figures hasn't been revealed. Sora's Smash Ultimate amiibo was released last month and it seems likely that will be the last one we get during the Switch era. Not only because Nintendo seems set to announce its next console any day now, but also because it has been reprinting various older amiibo, giving collectors a second chance to grab them.

could see a much-needed endgame improvement soon. Unlike most open-world survival games, is surprisingly linear. Sure, players can go wherever they want, whenever they want, but the map is always the same, aside from its procedurally generated dungeons. Players will always find the same landmarks, Pal habitats, and skill trees in the same places in . There's something to be said for a bespoke map design, but the linear nature of means that there's a clear-cut endgame. At a certain point, a player has done everything there is to do on the Palpagos Islands.
Eight years after launching, Stardew Valley just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Update 1.6 arrived yesterday, with enough changes that the patch notes are 7308 words long. It bumps the farm-o-life sim's co-op player limit to eight, adds hundreds of new items, opens up a new progression system for "powerful perks and items", adds new events, lets you drink mayonnaise, and so much more that. Best of all, it lets you have more pets. New pets. Pets wearing hats.
Nintendo potentially brought the curtain down on its amiibo era last month by releasing its Sora amiibo. The addition of the Kingdom Hearts hero to its Smash Ultimate collection means every fighter in the game now has their own amiibo. For figures released alongside a new game, you have to go back even further. Zelda and Ganondorf's Tears of the Kingdom amiibo were released last year, and after selling out fast wherever they pop up, the figures are back in stock at Best Buy.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has finally done one of the best things they could do for their players – bring back old Star Path items. These Star Paths allow players to have something to work toward every month, to unlock the items that are offered in it, like a battle pass. However, sometimes, not all players either unlock everything in time before it runs out or don’t spend the money each month. Now, no matter the reason, players can purchase old items through the Premium Shop.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the most successful reinvention of the classic Ubisoft franchise since 2003’s Sands of Time, reframing the platforming prince as a vivid Metroidvania.
