Amiibo collectors are in limbo right now as the future of Nintendo's interactive figures hasn't been revealed. Sora's Smash Ultimate amiibo was released last month and it seems likely that will be the last one we get during the Switch era. Not only because Nintendo seems set to announce its next console any day now, but also because it has been reprinting various older amiibo, giving collectors a second chance to grab them.

Ridley Scott’s seminal horror film has gone on to be many other things since becoming a full-blown franchise, from the landmark sci-fi action of the James Cameron-directed sequel to the slasher shlock of the rightfully maligned Alien vs. Predator: Requiem.

Nintendo potentially brought the curtain down on its amiibo era last month by releasing its Sora amiibo. The addition of the Kingdom Hearts hero to its Smash Ultimate collection means every fighter in the game now has their own amiibo. For figures released alongside a new game, you have to go back even further. Zelda and Ganondorf's Tears of the Kingdom amiibo were released last year, and after selling out fast wherever they pop up, the figures are back in stock at Best Buy.

Ubisoft has shared a post-launch roadmap for its acclaimed series revival Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, which promises to introduce the likes of a permadeath mode, boss rush mode, and story DLC across four updates starting next Wednesday 20th March.

Ubisoft has revealed a roadmap of incoming updates, modes and DLC for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, building up to new story DLC later in 2024. Outside of the new story DLC, all of this will be delivered through free title updates, which is a lovely touch.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Ubisoft's 2D metroidvania take on its classic franchise, will receive a host of new items, features and a story DLC as part of its freshly announced post-launch roadmap. Wowing critics and audiences with its fluid, challenging platforming, satisfying 2D combat, and impeccably designed boss fights, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was released in January to glowing reviews, and is one of 2024's earliest Game of the Year contenders.

After promising free content and new modes for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in the coming months, Ubisoft has confirmed three upcoming updates and story DLC. The first update, Warrior’s Path, arrives on March 20th and adds permadeath and speedrunning modes. Protagonist Sargon will also receive some new outfits.
