, the smash-hit survival title created by indie developer PocketPair, has taken the world by storm, amassing an impressive 19 million player count in a short period. Though the focus of the game has mainly been on the 100+ cute Pals that are catchable in the title and the game's different public controversies, as a survival game — there's one thing that people will do, and that's construct some pretty impressive compounds. Though 's building mechanics aren't the most complex in a survival game, the sheer amount of freedom one has when building allows for some pretty eye-catching structures.
One user on Reddit named u/Commercial_Neck8986 took things to the extreme and re-created Paradis Island from the iconic anime . A city constructed to keep the ravenous and cannibalistic Titans out, Paradis Island is made up of three different walls named Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina that surround the island's capital. These walls are meant to serve as a defense against the Titans that roam around in the countryside, the same creatures that the anime's protagonist, Eren Jaeger, trains to defeat. The re-creation of this locale is pretty astounding and accurate.
This -building feat is even more spectacular considering the sheer scale of the compound. In, each wall of the island is comprised of several districts with their own unique and interesting histories, with Wall Sina alone being comprised of seven distinct districts. Though the build may not seem all that impressive when viewed high up from the back of the player's Frostallion, the size of everything gets put into perspective when they land down on the ground.
It's not only that's providing inspiration for impressive structures. People have gotten creative, constructing a range of impressive base designs that are both impressive and aesthetically pleasing. Everything from classic castles and cottages to more modern architecture has been tinkered with, with more creative examples sure to be created as the game receives regular updates. That said, a limited number of building parts and some frustrating snapping (or lack thereof) currently limit the range of 's most ambitious architects.
Hopefully, PocketPair will pick up on the popularity of its base building and the freedom it provides and update the game with more building pieces to make more advanced-looking structures. Though there is a wide range of different furniture options available in , the ability to build round or curved structures would greatly enhance the building experience. Partial walls or differently shaped floors and ceilings exponentially add to design potential and shouldn't be too hard to implement in the hit survival and creature-collecting title.

One dedicated Palworld player builds a huge manor in a wide-open area. Using a selection of building options, Palworld players have been testing the limits of what they can build from the ground up. Recently, some have created simple setups in urban areas, while others have taken advantage of strategic locations to construct unraidable bases.
While most people who have played or even heard of 's less PG moments probably know it's possible to catch humans and even butcher cute Pal companions, there's another dark secret that lies inside the base mechanics in the world. In fact, there are a bunch of darker elements hidden under the bright and cute veneer of, including a tragic backstory for the game's first tower boss and disturbing theories about scientific experimentation.
Though money isn't as impactful in as it might be in other games, having it isn't bad, as there are a host of things that can be purchased from Wandering Merchants and Black Marketeers around the map. This can quickly help fill a hole in production and provide the necessary materials required to reach the next tier of equipment one can unlock. People are introduced to the concept of money rather early in the game, with the Small Settlement outside the starting area serving as the first glimpse into NPC buying and selling in .
A Palworld player has recently created a Lamball with overpowered stats due to a precise combination of breeding, Pal condensing, and enhancements from Statues of Power. Lamball is a pretty basic creature in Palworld, so it’s rare to see a gamer make such an effort to breed an overpowered version of one, but the result is still a surprisingly strong Pal.
A Palworld player clips an epic battle moment showing their Jetragon and a Necromus passing an attack back and forth. There have been a lot of impressive Palworld battles since the game was released, but this may be among the most memorable moments so far.
One Palworld player has built an elaborate labyrinth in the game. Palworld's immersive world is home to many hostile creatures, namely Pals, that can attack players in their every encounter. Therefore, it would be wise to build a functional base to survive invaders and settle down crafting benches that can be used to manufacture weapons.
Although by this point, most people know that Jetragon is one of the best Pals and flying mounts in , just knowing this fact doesn't make catching one any easier. As a Level 50 Alpha Pal found next to Mount Obsidian in the volcanic regions of the game, it'll require around level 30 to even craft the pre-requisite gear required to travel to the location. Once there, however, under-leveled characters will still have a hard time facing off against the imposing dragon.
A skilled Palworld player decided to make their base inside a volcano in Mount Obsidian, achieving quite a unique result. Base-building is at the core of Palworld'sgameplay, and some creative gamers really go the extra mile when making their headquarters.
A gamer who played Palworld for over 140 hours has recently created an impressive base that looks like a huge fortress. Palworld has been a major hit since its early access release last month, surpassing 19 million players on Xbox and Steam, and some of them are extremely creative with base-building.
, the wildly popular survival and creature-collecting game created by Pocketpair is undergoing many changes, including a roadmap that includes elements like PvP, new bosses, and entire sections of the map being built out. That said, one pervasive issue plaguing the game at the moment seems to be drawing the attention and ire of the developers, and it's not exactly a place that most players are even aware of or care about. PC version on Steam gives players access to official servers hosted by devs — which, at the time of writing, seems to be infested with hackers and cheaters exploiting the game.
One Palworld player has shared a helpful building technique that allows them to stack base parts on each other. Palworld features an abundance of PvE activities, one of which is base-building, which requires a lot of resources. Farming natural resources can be pretty time-consuming unless players enlist their Pals to do it for themselves.
