Palia is Now on Nintendo Switch, With Cross-Play, Special Launch Rewards, and Twitch Drops

The Nintendo Switch can be a wonderful console for playing multiplayer games, particularly with its several Nintendo-exclusive cooperative titles, as well as many games that can be enjoyed with friends on other systems via crossplay. Nothing can quite match the fun of playing a game with friends or family in the same room in local play, which many Nintendo games are designed for. If looking for online multiplayer fun, the choices available for Nintendo players are vast and can help people feel connected even over long distances.

Suika Game, also known as the Watermelon Game that recently went mega-viral, is Nintendo Switch’s most downloaded game in Japan.

Palia, the cozy MMO that launched earlier this year on PC (and most recently on Steam) wants to help make your homestead a bit more cozy with some in-game decorations simply for playing. 

Palia , a “cozy” MMO, has announced that it’ll be available on Steam in 2024. The page is up on the Steam store with descriptions, photos, videos, and the ability to wishlist, but the actual Steam release date is nonspecific, just listing “2024.” 

Publisher and distributor Selecta Play has unveiled the contents of the upcoming Blasphemous 2 Collector’s Edition. Slated for release on PS5 and Nintendo Switch in early 2024, Blasphemous 2 Collector’s Edition will feature quite a few physical goodies alongside the game itself.

In Palia, humanity is the past… or at least, humanity was the past. Palia starts with a giant purple void and a halfway-decent character creation tool. I do love a good character creation tool.  After crafting the perfect human, I was thrust into a world where the legendary human race was supposed to be extinct.  No one seems to know exactly how or why humanity died off or, more importantly, why they’re reappearing from nowhere.  One thing is certain: this cozy little town just got a lot smaller.
