Outsiders of the Ace Attorney series might not be familiar with the name Apollo Justice, but fans know the character is a big deal. He's second only to Phoenix Wright in terms of playable appearances, and his new collection, the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, gathers all of those outings in one convenient package. While there's not much new content, quality-of-life improvements and a visual overhaul do a lot to modernize Apollo's courtroom saga, making it a worthwhile journey for fans new and old.

2024 is set to be another fantastic year for video games. For example, Nintendo is releasing a brand-new Princess Peach game; Dragon's Dogma is finally getting a sequel; the next part of the acclaimed Final Fantasy 7 remake is coming out;Star Wars is getting another major release; and that just scratches the surface. We should expect many more 2024 video game release dates as more presentations happen, like the next State of Play, Nintendo Direct, and all the other online streams.

Are you looking to pick up some new games? Check out some of the better titles that have been released this past month. There were certainly a few notable games that might pique your interest. Don’t consider this in any particular order as we cover a variety of games both exclusive and different genres.

It might be a bit of a controversial take, but I’ve always preferred the Ace Attorney games with Apollo Justice over those with Phoenix Wright. That’s not to say the Phoenix Wright originals are bad, but I just found Apollo a far more relatable and likeable character. That probably says a lot about me, but it’s why I’m so happy that Capcom  has finally graced us with a collection of Apollo’s various Chords of Steel workouts with the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy.

We acknowledge that not all of you will be interested in getting the Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy that Capcom has officially released today. But allow us to give you a brief glimpse into what this set of titles is like and why you should consider giving it a shot. Even if said games “aren’t your cup of tea.” First and foremost, these titles will have you playing as Apollo Justice, Athena Cykes, and Phoenix Wright as you attempt to save the world of law from corrupt forces across multiple countries. With three games to enjoy, that’s plenty of cases to dive into.

Capcom’s latest Ace Attorney compilation, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, is out now. Not one game, but three, are included in the remastered , offering a combined total of over 90 hours of mysteries and courtroom drama for sleuthing players to enjoy. Capcom's remastered trilogy featuring 's prodigy includes,, and along with many extras and updates. For the $50 price tag, evidence would show that there is a lot of entertainment value to be had in these courtroom text adventures.

If you don’t know, we’re just a few days away from the release of the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy remaster. This set of games brings together the fourth, fifth, and sixth mainline entries in the saga together for the first time via the RE Engine that Capcom has been using for a while. By doing this, they’re giving this trilogy an updated look and giving players who didn’t play the original titles on Nintendo DS or 3DS the chance to enjoy them. But longtime franchise fans are wondering what comes next for the franchise. If anything comes at all.

It’s been nearly eight years since the last main entry in the Ace Attorney series.

I’m on a bit of a nostalgia kick right now. After burning out on new releases after a hectic 2023, I found a renewed love for gaming on my Nintendo DS. Games like Metroid Prime Hunters and Kirby Mass Attack brought me back to a unique era of two-screen game design brimming with innovative ideas. I’m not the only one missing that time, apparently; 2024 is already filled with DS throwbacks like Another Code: Recollection.

The Ace Attorney series will never end, a Capcom producer has stated.

2019 saw the re-release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles released in the West a couple of years later, and later this week, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be releasing, but though there’s been no shortage of Ace Attorney re-releases, the last time we got a new game in the series was all the way back in 2016 with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice.

As W.H. A producer from Capcom gave fans of the Ace Attorney franchise some good news, promising that the publisher isn't abandoning the series anytime soon. The first Ace Attorney game was released in 2001 on the Game Boy Advance. Ever since, it has spawned a trilogy on the handheld console, which was then ported to the Nintendo DS and brought over to the West. With its surprise popularity, Ace Attorney would help show the appeal of visual novel games in the West.

Capcom has confirmed that, despite not getting a brand-new game since 2017, the Ace Attorney series is not finished and will have more games in the future.

We’re in the middle of a Nintendo DS renaissance on Nintendo Switch, which is fitting as that classic handheld turns 20 in 2014. Coming off the excellentGhost Trick: Phantom Detective re-release from last year, more DS classics are coming to Nintendo Switch this month. First, Another Code Recollection contains a full-on remake of the cult classic Another Code: Two Memories, and it’s out now. In a few days, on January 25, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will remastered as part of a trilogy collection that also bears its namesake.

It’s always interesting to see what franchises do well in the gaming world and which don’t. You’d think an anime-style lawyer franchise wouldn’t “resonate” with gamers because it’s more about logical thinking and sleuthing while not having “meaningful action” compared to other titles. Yet, the franchise known as Ace Attorney has been around for quite some time, and many hope to see more entries from it. But, for those who haven’t been able to partake in the entirety of the main games, you’re in luck, as the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy arrives next week and will complete the “main story” of the universe.

According to recent sales data from gaming industry analysts, 2023 saw 2360 games released on the Nintendo Switch, a record for the console. Nintendo's hybrid handheld console entered its sixth year in 2023, with plenty of fans having high expectations, and it seems like those expectations were met. While the system has had strong years before, 2023 might have been the strongest year for the Nintendo Switch.

There's never been a better time to get into Ace Attorney. 2023 was, you could say, an interesting year for video games. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy collects another trifecta of Capcom's over-the-top legal capers, with a court date of 25th January 2024 on PS4. We got a glimpse of the trials that await in a new trailer detailing some of the extras on offer, and pre-orders are available now.

Earlier this year, Capcom announced Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, a collection of the second trilogy of its adventure series, which is set to launch in January. Ahead of its release, the company has released another new trailer for it, while also confirming that pre-orders are now available across all platforms that the collection will be releasing for.

Pre-orders for Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy are now available for Xbox One via Microsoft Store, Switch via Nintendo eShop, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, Capcom announced. PlayStation 4 users can wishlist the game via PlayStation Store. It will launch on January 25, 2024 worldwide for $49.99.

Capcom already has a busy 2024 planned, with several big games scheduled. It has just been revealed that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will launch on March 22, 2024.

Capcom is getting ready to launch a big game despite not having announced it yet, as the Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and Street Fighter maker has an "unannounced major title" launching by March 2024.

It’s been a pretty successful year for Capcom thus far. The company released its second-quarter and first-half fiscal year 2023 financials, with performance in line with current forecasts. It has a big release in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy, out in January 2024. However, what about the unannounced “major title” it discussed earlier this year that would sell millions?

Capcom has had several excellent video game releases this year, and there are more hot titles on the way. During a special Capcom showcase earlier this year, the company revealed that the “second half” of the Ace Attorney saga would be getting a modern upgrade and brought to current systems. The only thing we didn’t know was when that would take place. The good news is that at the Tokyo Game Show, all was revealed! The Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy will officially be released on January 25th, 2024, and a new trailer for the trilogy was dropped, which you can see below! This upgraded take on the trilogy is perfect for those who weren’t able to play these games when they originally came out.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is coming to Game Pass next week, Microsoft has announced.

Microsoft has announced a string of titles from top Japanese developers coming to Xbox and/or Xbox Game Pass over the next few months.

Microsoft made a number of announcements during its Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2023, most of which revolved around Japan and Japan-inspired games and updates. Xbox boss Phil Spencer and Head of Xbox Creator Experience Sarah Bond talked about the importance of the Japanese market. "Japan will always have a special place in my heart for pioneering innovative ways to play, from the Game Boy, to PSP, to the Switch," Spencer said.

Dragon's Dogma 2 will get new gameplay and information during Tokyo Game Show 2023, CAPCOM said in a tweet from the official account. Game Director Hideaki Itsuno will appear on the company's Online Program, scheduled to air on September 21st at 7 AM Pacific Time, to deliver the news and introduce the new footage.

Along with several other publishers, Capcom will attend the Tokyo Game Show 2023 from September 21st to 24th. It will host the TGS 2023 Capcom Online Special Program on September 21st at 7 AM PDT, with titles like Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy and Dragon’s Dogma 2.
