Capcom is getting ready to launch a big game despite not having announced it yet, as the Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, and Street Fighter maker has an "unannounced major title" launching by March 2024.
As reported by VG247, Capcom said during the questions and answers section of its recent financial results presentation that this unannounced title will allow it to reach its sales goal for the year.
"In the second half of this financial year, we plan to release Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy in January in addition to a currently unannounced major title," Capcom said, translated by Reddit user hzy980512 and verified by IGN. "Moreover, we plan to boost the sales figures of new titles of the first half of this financial year, like Street Fighter 6, to achieve the target."
It's currently unclear what this unannounced major title is, of course, but Capcom certainly has plenty of franchises to pull from. Its IP include the aforementioned Street Fighter, Resident Evil, and Devil May Cry alongside the likes of Mega Man, Dead Rising, and Monster Hunter.
As mentioned by Capcom, Street Fighter 6 was only released in June 2023, however, meaning a new title in this franchise may be unlikely. Similarly, Resident Evil 4 Remake arrived in April 2023, and Capcom also noted that the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy launches in January, likely knocking those off too.
Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter haven't seen a full new release since 2020 and 2021 respectively though, perhaps making them more likely candidates, but only time will tell what Capcom is planning.

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about Persona 5 X (also known as Persona 5: The Phantom X or P5X). But a recent rumour on Twitter alludes to a potential 2024 release. While it wouldn’t be surprising for the long-awaited mobile game to be released next year, I’d still take it with a pinch of salt.
