Overwatch 2 Has Seen a Decline in Player Investment and Engagement – Activision Blizzard

After several leaks, Blizzard Entertainment released a new trailer forOverwatch 2’s next season, Invasion, showcasing its new hero. Illari is a Support who can fly and fire projectiles from what seems to be a railgun. Check it out below.

Many Pokemon fans have been hoping against hope that the series’ Game Boy and Game Boy Advance era mainline entries will one day make their way over to Nintendo Switch Online, but while that still remains an elusive dream, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo are, at least, continuing to bring beloved spinoffs to the service, from Pokemon Stadium to Pokemon Puzzle League to Pokemon Snap. Now, two more have been added to that list.

The Pokemon Company had several details regarding upcoming projects like Detective Pikachu Returns and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s upcoming paid expansion, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – Part 1: The Teal Mask. The latter is out on September 13th, but in the meantime, players can partake in a new 7-star Tera Raid against Mewtwo from September 1st, midnight UTC till September 18th, 2:59 PM UTC.

The recent Pokemon Presents stream was a rather unremarkable, as many had predicted it would be, but The Pokemon Company did close it with an extended look at the ucoming two-part expansion for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Hidden Area of Treasure Zero. 

Earlier this year, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company finally lifted the lid on Detective Pikachu Returns, and with the adventure title’s October launch drawing closer, more details on it have now been revealed, courtesy of a new trailer at the recent Pokemon Presents broadcast.

Red Dead Redemption is finally headed to PS4 and Nintendo Switch, on August 17. No, this isn't a remake or that long-rumoured remastered version, but rather a port of the original 2010 game, and includes the Undead Nightmare zombie add-on. Rockstar Games' Western epic was originally launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360, after which it was made compatible to run on newer Xbox consoles via backwards compatibility. Double Eleven Studios — known for working on the Lego Harry Potter games and Minecraft Dungeons — is responsible for this new port, which they're calling a ‘conversion.' The studio was founded by ex-Rockstar developers.

Devolver Digital hosted its first-ever Devolver Delayed showcase, highlighting all of its upcoming titles that will now release in 2024 instead of this year. Perhaps the biggest delay is The Plucky Squire from All Possible Futures, an action-adventure title that transitions between 2D and 3D planes while encompassing multiple genres.
