A brand-new trailer and key visual were released on Friday to announce the upcoming continuation of the Overlord anime project, which aired its fourth and most recent season back in Summer 2022. The anime continues with Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom, an anime movie set to debut this Fall, and in addition to new cast members, the main staff working on the film's production were also announced in the trailer, which can be seen below.
The upcoming Overlord film is set against the backdrop of the once-prosperous Roebel Sacred Kingdom as it faces collapse after an attack from the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth. OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom premieres this Fall.
By far the most eye-catching moment of the trailer for the upcoming Overlord movie is the proclamation by Jaldaboath, who shouts victoriously, «The Sorcerer King is dead!». The film's second teaser visual, released together with the above trailer, depicts a limp Ainz Ooal Gown falling from a reddened sky. Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom is centred on the Roebel Sacred Kingdom, led by Sacred Queen Calca Bessarez, neighboring what was once known as Re-Estize.
Roebel enjoyed a period of peace before the onslaught of the Demon Emperor Jaldaboath, as well as an attack by the Demi-Human Alliance. These incidents have driven the once prosperous Sacred Kingdom to the brink of ruin, and despite their efforts to retaliate, there was simply too great a difference in power between them and Jaldaboath's forces. Desperate to save their kingdom, the grandmaster of Roebel Sacred Kingdom's Sacred Paladin Order, Remedios, travels together with her subordinate, Neia, to the Sorcerer Kingdom, led by the notorious Lich Lord known as Ainz Ooal Gown. As we already know, the Sacred Kingdom despises the Sorcerer Kingdom; however, they travel to the nation of the undead with hopes of obtaining a power capable of taking on Jaldaboath.

One of the biggest questions that video game developers have to answer when making a gaming title is, “What platform will we build the game for?” If the company is already under the banner of a publisher, that question is easy to answer. However, if they’re a 3rd party company, they have much more freedom to choose where their title goes but also have to deal with the potential difficulties of putting it on several systems. Vanillaware is experienced in doing multiplatform titles, and their latest game, Unicorn Overlord, wasn’t just multiplatform, but it’s already sold over half a million units. That shows the game continues the developer’s legacy of making quality titles.
With about a month and a half left before the game's launch, Ninja Theory has finally shown Senua's Saga: Hellblade II to a few outlets. The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) is the most widely accepted authority on the English language, and is updated quarterly with revised meanings and new words as our language continues to evolve. Sometimes these words are entirely new creations, and sometimes they are words from other languages that have been adopted for common use in English. This past quarter, 23 new Japanese words were officially added to the OED, showing how much of an impact Japanese culture has even outside of Japan.
Promoting your troops in Unicorn Overlord is one of the most impactful things you can do in the mid-game. It’s so powerful that you should stop trying to make new units and focus on powering up your army the moment the feature is unlocked. This naturally leads to the question: “Who do I promote first?”.
Unicorn Overlord is jam-packed with classes to discover. Every major location in the game is overflowing with new things to experiment with, and part of the fun is digging through it all to find the perfect class to fit into a specific role. What’s even more impressive, however, is how balanced early-game classes are to late-game classes.
Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Humble Store this fall worldwide, publishers XSEED Games, Marvelous Europe, and Marvelous, and developer Team GrisGris announced.
The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 version of Venom is crawling into the comics in this year’s Venomverse Reborn event, just a few months after menacing gamers on the PlayStation 5. Even before Spider-Man 2 launched back in October, Venom’s presence in the Insomniac universe was strongly felt and hinted at. In the Marvel’s Spider-Man post-credits scene, it is revealed that Norman Osborn has been keeping his terminally ill son Harry suspended in a tank in his penthouse, with an all-too-familiar-looking black substance floating alongside him. Come Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Norman orders Harry to be released, despite the protests of Dr. Curtis Conners.
Leading the Liberation is no easy task in Unicorn Overlord. You are but a handful of upstart rebels facing off against an Empire that has conquered the continent. The war is going to be long, and you are going to need as many people fighting by your side if you wish to win when all is said and done.
Unicorn Overlord has a whopping 60 classes to play with. Not only that, but a whole bunch of them are unlocked during your initial liberation of Cornia. These range from powerful melee threats like Sellswords to immovable walls like Hoplites. Not to mention mighty magic-users like Shamans and Witches.
Unicorn Overlord can be overwhelming when you first start. Heck, it can be overwhelming throughout its runtime if you aren’t prepared to delve into its far-from-svelte bowels. But it’s not insurmountable and having a basic idea of what classes to bring in the early game can help smooth out our play experience.
