Sony has plunged the price of some of PS5 and PS4’s biggest games, as its annual Days of Play event gets underway. Many titles are enjoying their lowest ever prices, with relatively new releases like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League available at an enormous 60 per cent off, making the Rocksteady affair just £27.99.
As always, we’ve collected some of the best offers below, and will update with US pricing once it becomes available:
Remember, there’ll also be some daily Flash Sales on the PS Store running throughout the Days of Play promotional period, and we’ll be sure to update you with any headline savings here on Push Square. In the meantime, you can browse the full list of offers through here.

There was a day in the not so distant past that you would never see a game on ‘sale’ for £52.49. I miss those days.
@itsfoz Haha, yeah. It's a tricky one because these games obviously now cost an outrageous amount of money to make. But with the MSRP so high, even 20% discounts don't really move the needle much.
@get2sammyb 100% — don’t blame the devs given we’re seeing huge job losses even with these price gains but damn, gaming is an expensive hobby now.
@itsfoz yeah lol. That is so true. Gaming is an expensive hobby nowadays. Still remember my first time bought a ps4 slim, when new triple a games released,it’s always a day one purchases from me. Right now im prefer to buy 2nd hand games or wait for sales.
I do love me some of these prices. It helps me save aome money by not buying them.
@itsfoz I disagree that gaming is expensive. These full-price game typically have a play time of 30 hours and more. I see 2 quids per hour as not expensive. Of course, if you are a gaming junkie who spends 100 hours or more per month, it CAN be expensive, but doesn’t have to, it depends on the games you’re playing. Being an addict is in many cases not cheap (Netflix binging etc. aside).
Monster Hunter Rise for 8 quid is sn amazing deal. Been waiting for Rebirth to have a sale but think I'll wait for it to hit the magic £35 mark, like I did with XVI.
Oh hello Robocop
I’m half tempted by either Rebirth or Rise of Ronin. Amazon has the exact same prices for these though so I might buy physical
@SuperSilverback I picked it up on a previous sale, well worth it at sale price. I really enjoyed

Communicating while in a Helldivers 2 party with friends will soon be easier than ever, as PlayStation announced Thursday that it’ll be rolling out built-in Discord voice chat to PlayStation 5 consoles.
Sony has started to deploy PS5 system update 24.04-09.40.00, allowing players to start or join Discord voice chat directly from their PS5 console.
Yesterday, during the Xbox showcase, we got our first proper look at Dragon Age: The Veilguard — a game that's reportedly survived a nightmarish development cycle over the last decade or so. While it was only a CG trailer, it prompted immediate reactions from both fans and curious onlookers because of its tone and art direction (and its horrifically bad, blown-out cover of David Bowie's Heroes, but that's a minor complaint in the grand scheme of things).
The PS5 is a fantastic console, but increasingly we’ve been feeling that its operating system doesn’t feel designed with modern games in mind. This is particularly ironic when you consider Sony’s live service push: Helldivers 2 has already struck big, but it’s desperate to add Concord or Fairgame$ to the mix.
With the upcoming Summer Game Fest right around the corner, Sony is celebrating with another 1,500 or so PS5 and PS4 discounts. As is typically the case, there are some huge savings here – up to 85 per cent in some cases, like with the Deluxe Edition of EA Sports PGA Tour, which is just £12.74/$12.74 until all the deals expire on 20th June, 2024.
Sony is plunging the depths of emerging markets to bolster its content offering on PS5 and PS4, and that’s resulting in plenty of diverse content like Infinity Nikki, the open world anime dress-up game which has exploded in popularity on PlayStation’s YouTube channel. It’s one of a number of Chinese titles on the way, with Ballad of Antara, Marvel Rivals, and Where Winds Meet also featured in the format holder’s recent State of Play – and Zenless Zone Zero due out in a matter of weeks.
Update: Pre-orders for Concord are now live worldwide, confirming the game will cost £34.99 in the UK and $39.99 in the USA. Do you think this is a fair price? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
There’s a growing sentiment among the gaming enthusiast circles, not necessarily always backed up by fact, that console gaming is collapsing. While it’s true the market is facing issues of spiralling costs and slowing growth, it’s a concern not always rooted in reality. Case in point: Sony’s just announced PS5 is its most profitable generation to date.
Konami and Bloober Team’s long-awaited Silent Hill 2 remake will finally emerge from the fog on 8th October, and here’s a brand-new trailer as well as an extended look at gameplay. Pre-orders are open now, with two exclusive James Sunderland masks available for those who register their interest: Mira the Dog and Robbie the Rabbit. The game will retail for $69.99.
Player First Games seems to have successfully brought MultiVersus back, if its launch day player stats are anything to go by. After nearly a year of additional development to get the game in shape, it's now available once again, and it seems to have attracted most of its audience back for more.
Stellar Blade is the big winner of the latest US sales report from analytical company Circana (as outlined by the ever-informative Mat Piscatella). The current PS5 exclusive topped the charts for April, having released on the 26th of the month. Admittedly, it was a pretty quiet period for new releases, but it's still an impressive console debut from South Korean developer Shift Up.
