Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has gotten a new update, and among many improvements, the fan-favorite original Tobey Maguire costume received a small but significant and most-requested change. With over 60 years of history behind the character, hardcore Spider-Man fans are very particular about suits, and while the update may feel minor, it's a big deal for many hardcore fans.

As a free update, all of these extra features can be enjoyed without paying a cent but players need to be aware of a major bug that may ruin their enjoyment.

Insomniac Games finally released its long-awaited patch for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, adding New Game Plus, Mission Replay, new suits and much more. However, it also unintentionally added access to the game’s debug menu. A hotfix is on the way to address this, and the developer warns that using the menu may corrupt your saves and trophy progress.

It’s true that thanks to the PS4 and PS5, these games look gorgeous, and they’re only going to get better as they make more titles in the line. Plus, the gameplay is fluid and dynamic, making you feel like the Spider-Men while also having different attacks and abilities for both to use, making each unique. But the real reason that most praise the titles is the stories and portrayals of the characters. Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and others shine within the game in the best ways, and gamers gravitated to that.
