Developer Hello Games has announced a new major update for No Man’s Sky. Titled Echoes, the update was originally teased in a trailer celebrating the game’s seventh anniversary. The update now has its own trailer showing off its new features.
One of the key new features of No Man’s Sky: Echoes is the ability to play as the Robotic race, which comes with its own set of customisation options. The update also brings with it new buildings and items, like a new Advanced Personal Refiner. The update will also feature a new story that players can experience.
The trailer for Echoes also reveals that No Man’s Sky will be getting its own take on epic space battles, thanks to the addition of Outlaw Capital Ships, like the Pirate Dreadnaughts. Players will have to take on these massive ships to rescue civilian merchant fleets being terrorised.
