This follows nearly 1,900 layoffs earlier in the year, largely from Microsoft’s newly-acquired Activision Blizzard teams. Unfortunately, it seems this isn’t the end of the pain.

Amid months, even years, of rumors about the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has finally confirmed its existence. It will be revealed within this fiscal year, i.e. between now and March 31st, 2025.
