We know that Nintendo probably won't rock the boat too much due to the overwhelming success of the Switch, and industry analysts have predicted that the console will most likely be an "iteration" rather than a drastic change in design.

Publisher Flyhigh Works and developers Secret Character and ITSARAAMATA will release turn-based strategy RPG Banchou Tactics for Switch via Nintendo eShop on February 15, the companies announced.

This is a franchise that hasn’t seen a new game release since the Nintendo Wii U. However, you can point to the previously released Star Fox 2, a title that was intended to be released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. If you recall, that game did come out during the heyday of mini-console releases for Nintendo. But beyond that, we haven’t seen a new installment released. That could change here soon. 

Palworld, an open-world action-adventure title where players can combat and capture Pokemon-like creatures, has become a phenomenon, rising to the top of Steam charts days within launch. The game, which also incorporates elements of the survival genre, now has the fifth-highest peak concurrent players in the history of the Valve storefront, going past heavyweight titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy. Palword developers Pocketpair also confirmed Monday that the game has sold over five million copies within three days of launch.

We’re in the middle of a Nintendo DS renaissance on Nintendo Switch, which is fitting as that classic handheld turns 20 in 2014. Coming off the excellentGhost Trick: Phantom Detective re-release from last year, more DS classics are coming to Nintendo Switch this month. First, Another Code Recollection contains a full-on remake of the cult classic Another Code: Two Memories, and it’s out now. In a few days, on January 25, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney will remastered as part of a trilogy collection that also bears its namesake.
