Nintendo is releasing a limited-edition OLED Switch ahead of the launch of Super Mario Bros. Wonder in October.
The Mario Red Edition of the OLED Switch is, as you'd expect, red all over. There's a small Mario silhouette on the back of the dock and some gold coins hidden behind the back cover, but beyond that it's a purely red version of the hybrid console.

Wonder is a new Mario platformer, and the first traditional side-scrolling Super Mario game to be released since New Super Mario Bros. U back in 2012. Wonder is set to launch on Oct. 20, where as the limited edition OLED Switch will be available from Oct. 6.
Nintendo continues to make us wait for a more up-to-date console to replace the Switch, but it's not going to happen this year. There are plenty of new games to play while you wait, however, including the surprise release of Red Dead Redemption earlier this month.
