So with that all in mind, let's take a look at what we could expect to see in that swift 25 minutes.
Let's start by recapping what Xbox said about bringing games to other platforms last week.
As part of the Xbox Podcast last week, Phil Spencer said the following:
"We've made the decision that we're gonna take four games to the other consoles. Just four games, not a change to our fundamental exclusive strategy. We're making this decision for some specific reasons."
"We make every decision with the long-term health of Xbox in mind. Long-term health of Xbox means a growing platform, our games performing, building the best platform for creators, reaching as many players as we can."
"We're always looking to learn as a leadership team and to grow, and we think this is an interesting time to use what some of the other platforms have right now to grow our franchises."

During Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, we learned about two of the Xbox Game Studios titles that are going multiplatform. The games in question are Obsidian Entertainment’s Grounded and Pentiment, and the latter will launch tomorrow on Nintendo Switch.
In its Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase event, it was revealed that Pentiment and Grounded, two Xbox exclusive Obsidian Entertainment games, are making the leap to the Nintendo Switch. It has been a tumultuous couple of weeks for Phil Spencer and Team Xbox after speculation and concern swept over the community regarding rumors indicating that Microsoft was considering becoming a third party developer, similarly to what Sega did after the Dreamcast. The uproar eventually pushed Phil Spencer to respond and announce that not only were they listening to fan concerns, but a planned poidcast around the company's future would reveal more.

For the best part of this generation, Sony’s been pressured by a vocal part of the gaming community to borrow Xbox Game Pass’ unproven business model with PS Plus. The platform holder eventually decided to take a half-step, merging PS Now with its existing subscription but resisting the urge to add day one first-party software to the service. It’s described this strategy as unsustainable.
Another week of PC game releases is upon us and oh heck, slow down. There are an alarming number of games out this week that I want to play, from large-scale 3D productions to itty-bitty time-killers, each sinisterly appropriate to my Steam stats and wider research interests. Are videogame publishers and The Maw in cahoots to overwhelm me with impulse-buys and sabotage my attempts to Report the News? It’s possible. It’s possible. The Maw can be pretty cunning for an indiscriminate force of cosmic famine. The creature has been known to forge alliances with misguided mortals, seeking to flank and overwhelm harried news writers. How else to explain Phil Spencer’s T-shirts?
Many people are still trying to process everything that happened during Xbox’s “Business Update” that transpired yesterday. This is because the whole presentation read as nothing more than “this could’ve been an email,” as nothing truly significant was revealed. The only “big pieces of news” were that Microsoft would bring four titles that had been out for a while to other platforms and that Microsoft was already working on their next-gen console to follow the Xbox Series X/S. But now, a separate interview from Xbox’s Phil Spencer has further shed light on what he feels is “best for business” from both Xbox and beyond…and it’s really telling.
It's been 24 years since the original Xbox launched, but its 'father' says fans are still worrying about the same thing following the latest console tease.
