Palworld on Xbox received its second update of the week. Developer Pocket Pair recently dropped Patch 0.1.5.0 for Palworld, which addressed a wide range of issues from Pal AI to cheating and other various bugs. Now, the team is back with a slew of fixes and balance tweaks to improve gameplay and reduce crashes.
This latest Palworld update arrived for Steam users a couple of days prior, but the Xbox version was slated for release at a previously unknown time. The Xbox version of Palworld has historically lagged behind the Steam version in terms of performance and available features since its early access launch. However, Microsoft has since teamed up with Pocket Pair to aid development, presumably ensuring Palworld's Xbox iteration remains up to par. Still, Xbox fans didn't have to wait too long for the latest update, as the new patch is officially available for console and PC Game Pass players.
Palworld update 0.1.5.1 reduces various game crashes, fixes server issues, balances gameplay, and even addresses a bug in which players were unable to give Pals nicknames. Additionally, Pocket Pair has addressed some issues in Palworld's dungeons that have been plaguing players. Of course, Palworld is still in early access, so players should expect more patches before this already massive hit reaches 1.0.
In addition to bug fixes and stabilization patches, Palworld revealed its future content roadmap, which will feature PvP, raid bosses, new Pals, new areas, and crossplay. For now, however, Pocket Pair is understandably focused on polishing Palworld in its current form, so no timeline was given as to when players can expect these new features.
Even with the latest update, the Xbox version of Palworld still falls a bit short of its Steam counterpart in several different areas. For example, Palworld on Xbox lacks dedicated servers. While that's arguably the console's most glaring omission in terms of features, the Xbox version is also limited in terms of its multiplayer capacity in comparison to the Steam iteration. Still, many Xbox gamers have been enjoying Palworld, as it has become the largest third-party launch in Game Pass history. As a day one launch for the subscription service, Palworld has been a massive success for the platform.
Despite various controversies, Palworld has garnered record-setting player counts and become easily the biggest surprise hit of the year so far. With all the success, it's sometimes easy to forget that Palworld is still in early access. Between regular updates and an exciting roadmap ahead, fans have plenty to be excited about moving forward.

could see a much-needed endgame improvement soon. Unlike most open-world survival games, is surprisingly linear. Sure, players can go wherever they want, whenever they want, but the map is always the same, aside from its procedurally generated dungeons. Players will always find the same landmarks, Pal habitats, and skill trees in the same places in . There's something to be said for a bespoke map design, but the linear nature of means that there's a clear-cut endgame. At a certain point, a player has done everything there is to do on the Palpagos Islands.
The upcoming update for will introduce more than a Raid Boss as players discover that a new addition to the UI will make it significantly easier to assign their collected Pals to various jobs. A major aspect of Pocket Pair's open-world survival game is «taming» wild creatures known as Pals and setting them to work around an established base in an effort to automate busy work. It's a satisfying loop but since launch the community has requested a way to streamline the process of assigning Pals to workstations.
If you’re a Minecraft player on PC, don’t update your game using the Xbox app, Microsoft warned Friday. If you do, you risk losing your Minecraft world. You can use the Xbox app to manage updates for your Windows PC and console, and sometimes it can auto-update if you don’t adjust the settings. Several people responding to the Microsoft message have reported already losing their Minecraft worlds thanks to the update.
One Palworld player has captured the difference between Kindling Level 3 and Kindling Level 4 on video. As experienced Palworld players know, the work speed for tasks like Kindling, Crafting, Lumbering, and Watering can differ drastically between levels. However, it's one thing to know that Level 4 is more efficient than Level 3, and it's another to see both in action side by side.
A Palworld player took to social media to show off an overpowered Depresso they bred and demonstrated their steps to power it up and how much damage the Pal unleashed on various bosses. Following their video post, other Palworld players complimented the Depresso breeder, while others gave context to the processes they used.
Developer Pocketpair has released a new update for Palworld, with this one exclusively targeting the Xbox version of the game. Palworld is readily available on Steam and Xbox, but there is yet to be parity between the two versions of the game. At the time of this writing, Palworld offers a more fully-featured experience on Steam, though there are steps being made to change that and eventually bring the experiences closer together.
One of the recent Palworld updates has made it possible for Xbox gamers to change their Pal's names, a feature that PC users have had since the title's early access launch. When Palworld hit early access on PC and Xbox, it was clear out of the gate that the PC version, specifically the one available on Steam, had some serious advantages over its Xbox counterpart.
Though money isn't as impactful in as it might be in other games, having it isn't bad, as there are a host of things that can be purchased from Wandering Merchants and Black Marketeers around the map. This can quickly help fill a hole in production and provide the necessary materials required to reach the next tier of equipment one can unlock. People are introduced to the concept of money rather early in the game, with the Small Settlement outside the starting area serving as the first glimpse into NPC buying and selling in .
Palworld players, rejoice. A new update has removed a bug introduced in the previous patch, which saw Pals obtained by breeding stuck with negative passive skills that players were previously able to breed out.
The latest update for Palworld recently released for PC players, and now it's available for Xbox gamers as well. While Palworld is readily available on both PC and Xbox, there isn't parity between the two versions yet. Palworld's PC release has some features that the Xbox version is missing, and this lack of parity is reflected in the updates that are released for the wildly popular open world survival game as well.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the Palwoods, Pocketpair have revealed a new Palworld update - Steam and Xbox patch v0.1.5.0. This is a larger overhaul, encompassing a juicy mixture of balance and technical tweaks that together make this spring's breakout survival game easier to play, less buggy and, dare I say, a little kinder, with various tweaks aimed at making life more liveable both for trainers and Pals. I have run my eye over the changelog at the bottom of this page and picked out a few highlights, like somebody fishing a stray banknote from the laundry.
