The biggest example of this is Palworld, a game that blends Pokemon-like monster-catching gameplay with survival mechanics found in games like ARK. Enshrouded is another 2024 early access survival game that has been popular on Steam, with previous years offering games like Sons of the Forest, Valheim, and V Rising, the latter of which just released its big 1.0 update.
