At CES 2024, NVIDIA announced several new games and features coming to its GeForce NOW cloud platform. First and foremost, following the addition of Call of Duty, GFN users can look forward to being able to play Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 soon, thanks to the agreement with Microsoft.

An indie tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) from veteran designer Matt Colville has raised $4.6 million on BackerKit, and intends to offer an experience that's «unburdened» by the legacy of Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). The crowdfunding effort substantially exceeded its initial goal of $800,000. 

India is increasingly and rapidly stepping up its game in space missions and discoveries. With a number of new upcoming missions planned by the space agency, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), India has also laid out its investment plans for a monetary contribution to the international astronomical collaboration project, which includes over 16 nations. The collaboration between the nations will be developing the world's largest radio telescope called the Square Kilometre Array (SKA), which will be responsible for studying galaxies present in the universe. Additionally, it aims to make available the data as to evolution of our galaxy. Know what the project is about and how and when it will be ready to conduct research.

CyberStep visual novel game brand Rabbitfoot has announced visual novel TO THE TOP: Ato no Ijin-tachi for PlayStation 4, Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. It will launch in spring 2024 with language support for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and more to be announced.

Bandai Namco has released a series of developer diary videos for its upcoming video game adaptation. In them, the developers preview a handful of aspects of the game, including vehicles, combat, and the dungeon system.

Sales of Sony's PlayStation 5 have crossed 50 million units, the Japanese electronics giant said, pointing to "strong momentum" this year for its flagship gaming console. The PS5 was launched in November 2020, with the world in the grip of the Covid pandemic, and its sales initially suffered because of widespread supply chain problems and a global chip shortage.

PlayStation 5 has surpassed 50 million units sold through to consumers, manufacturer Sony Interactive Entertainment announced.
