Metal Gear Solid Master Collection now fully Steam Deck compatible

FromSoftware, the developer known for games such as Bloodborne and Dark Souls, now has full ownership of Elden Ring, the critically acclaimed action RPG it released nearly two years ago.

The Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered collection comes with a warning that denounces some of the content from the original trilogy as «rooted in racial and ethnic prejudices.» The bundle comprising the remasters of the original Tomb Raider trilogy releases February 14 for PC and the last two console generations.

A couple of weeks ago, Hideo Kojima announced that he was returning to the action espionage genre with a new game, codenamed Physint.

After the split between Hideo Kojima and Konami, Metal Gear fans were left without the icon at the helm. Hideo has helped bring out so many memorable installments that it was bitter news that he was leaving the studio. But after establishing Kojima Productions, we saw Hideo deliver Death Stranding into the marketplace. We also have a sequel in the works, but beyond that, there’s the surprising return to the action espionage setting with Physint. 

Hideo Kojima announced a new “action-espionage game” named Physint at Sony’s PlayStation State of Play event last month. And to hear the founder of Kojima Productions describe it, Physint sure sounds a lot like a new take on Metal Gear, the stealth series that Kojima created, but taken to its extremes.

Following up on updating its older titles with DRM, Capcom has now released an update for Monster Hunter Rise, bringing the same DRM—Enigma Protector—to the latest game in the franchise. Just like last time, the update has been quite controversial, however, with players having reported that the addition of the new DRM had broken the game’s Steam Deck compatibility.

As Fortnite continues its apparent mission to feature all other video games within itself in some capacity (until presumably it then puts itself in itself, including all other video games within), developer Epic Games has revealed Solid Snake isn't the only Metal Gear characer joining the battle royale line-up — with Raiden also set to appear as a new premium skin.

A Fortnite dataminer found images of another Metal Gear character, Raiden, who will likely be coming to the game soon. Fortnite's crossover with the Metal Gear franchise is the battle royale's latest collaboration.
