Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on October 1 in the west for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, Spike Chunsoft announced. In Japan, the game will launch as previously announced on July 18 for 6,350 yen.
The Japanese release will only support Japanese voice-overs, and Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text at launch, but will be updated with additional language support when the western version launches. The western release will support English and Japanese voice-overs, as well as English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text.
The PlayStation 5 version of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ will be available both physically and digitally worldwide, while the Xbox Series and PC versions will be digital-only. In the west, a “Lucid-Noir Limited Edition” will also be available for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99, which includes a copy of the game, an outer box with artwork by Rui Komatsuzaki, a SteelBook, 6.5-inches Shinigami plush, and the official soundtrack “Noise of Neon.”
A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available worldwide for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 / 7,200 yen, which includes the base game, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack.
Pre-orders for any edition on PlayStation 5 include the novel “How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case.” First-print physical copies of the game include a printed version of the novel, while pre-orders for the digital edition include a digital version of the novel.
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE+ is an enhanced version of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, which originally launched for Switch. It adds the following content:
