Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the Biggest Physical PS5 Launch in the UK for 2023

While is one of the biggest releases of the year, it also came with a number of bugs, which a recent update has helped to alleviate — unfortunately, the patch has also removed a hidden exploit that allowed players to free-roam the city as Venom. The first game in the series to feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as playable protagonists, also had a major focus on adapting the popular symbiote storyline from the classic comics, including the introduction of iconic Spider-Man villain Venom alongside fellow Marvel antagonists Sandman and Kraven.

Super Mario Bros Wonder has topped the UK physical software charts for the second week in a row.

Two members of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 narrative team have shed more light on the game's ending, and what it means for Peter Parker and Miles Morales.

PlayStation has confirmed new suits will be coming to in DLC. Currently, there are 39 available suits for Peter and another 39 for Miles, including the five for each hero that came with the Digital Deluxe Edition, and the pre-order exclusive suits. Many of these suits also come with an additional three «suit styles.» which are color variants to allow for further customization.

A Marvel's Spider-Man 2 player has found a way to transform Peter and Miles' universe into Spider-Man Noir's, with just a few changes in the settings menu. 

Insomniac Games has just rolled out Spider-Man 2 update 1.001.004 for PlayStation 5, which addresses various issues and improves stability.

Here's to hoping they eventually cross paths.

When including the content from its Digital Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses, Insomniac's superhero sequel had 39 suits for each hero, with a variety of additional color variations for many of them. While this collection sees some fan-favorite suits from past games returning, many are missing to make way for newer designs.

Spider-Man 2 fans are wondering where the heck Taskmaster is during the events of the campaign, as he can be spotted on Kraven's hunting list but isn't seen or mentioned anywhere else.

To get the Soar Trophy in, players must use Spider-Man's Web Wings to glide all the way from the Financial District to Astoria. This cross-city flight can be tough to pull off, but with a proper route that takes advantage of wind tunnels and steam vents, it’s actually very doable.

Almost everyone agreed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would be one of the biggest launches in 2023. After all, Insomniac Games was a crew that could be trusted with various things, including adapting the Marvel property, creating a fun and robust game world to explore, and having meaningful gameplay to participate in. It also helped that they had already made two games featuring two different Spider-Men and thus proved they could handle this particular superhero setting. The question was whether they could capture the magic of the first game and build upon it for the second one. The sales results clearly indicate that they could do that and then some.
