Alone in the Dark, the remake of the 1992 cult classic survival horror game of the same name, has been delayed from October to January 16, 2024.

The scariest thing to video game developers isn’t ghosts or monsters, as the new Alone in the Dark game has been pushed to 2024, partly to avoid an incredibly busy October gaming season, where it would have competed with Alan Wake 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This is a wise decision, considering how packed 2023 has been as a whole, especially as Alone in the Dark also needs extra polish time.

Pieces Interactive’s upcoming survival horror game, Alone in the Dark, has been delayed to January 2024 in order to avoid the title having to compete with October 2023’s stacked release schedule. 

For anyone awaiting the «full contact sword action» free-to-play PvP game that is Warhaven, you’ll be best pleased to hear that this «visceral medieval-fantasy sword fight experience» finally has a release date.

Intriguing station wagon survival game Pacific Drive now has an ETA of sometime in Early 2024, as developer Ironwood Studios reveals a delay is necessary to «stay true to ourselves, and not compromise on the teams well being». The game previously had a release window of 2023.

Dustborn is a single-player story-driven action adventure game developed by Read Thread Games and published by Quantic Dream. It was first revealed back in 2020 and is now targeting a release in early 2024, and we got a new trailer at Gamescom's Opening Night Live.

GROUND Game Atelier has delayed The Time I Have Left, its time-driven exploration game with RPG elements, from its previously planned 2023 release window to 2024, as well as released a new trailer at Gamescom 2023. It will be available for PC via Steam.

After plenty of speculation, we may have just learned when STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is finally coming thanks to the developer’s own fact sheet: Q1 of 2024.

Cooperative survival game The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will launch digitally for PlayStation 5 and PC via Epic Games Store on October 24, followed by Xbox Series in early 2024, publisher North Beach Games and developer Free Range Games announced.

Developer Free Range Games and publisher North Beach Games have announced that The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be coming to PC (through the Epic Games Store) and PS5 on October 24. The Xbox Series X/S version of the game has been pushed back to early 2024.

The early access release date for Nightingale has been announced, though it’s later than originally planned.
