WorldWinner is celebrating a major milestone in a big way. Founded in 1999, the developer of skill-based competitive cash tournament games has been in business for 25 years. To mark the occasion, WorldWinner is launching Lotería Fantástica on their website and mobile apps in both English and Spanish.
Lotería is a traditional Hispanic game of chance with more than a century of history. The game is often played at festivals, social gatherings, and family events. Players are given a 4×4 grid of images and must match images on their grid with images depicted on cards drawn by the “caller” – in this way, the game is much like Bingo .
With Lotería Fantástica , WorldWinner is putting their own spin on the classic game. Using powerups, skipping through cards, and creating multiple lines at once are just a few ways players can get the edge on the competition. Additionally, this is the first game WorldWinner has released to be completely playable in both English and Spanish. Players can read, hear, and play the game in either language.
“Playing Lotería is a cherished tradition across the Latino community, especially around the holidays,” said WorldWinner Game Designer, Audrey White. “Given that Latino players now comprise more than 21% of our WorldWinner player base, it was a natural decision to incorporate Lotería Fantástica into our collection of games. Whether you’re a lifelong Lotería enthusiast or trying it out for the first time, we aim to provide a fun experience with modern yet nostalgic artwork crafted by talented Latino artists, a blend of traditional and innovative game components, and, of course, the chance to win cash and prizes.”
WorldWinner is bringing over $500,000 in Lotería Fantástica player promotions. They will also be hosting a series of events and tournaments to help ring in this new release. Players who participate can win cash prizes and rewards.
“WorldWinner’s 25th year as the leading competitive gaming platform is shaping up to be our best yet,” said Nancy MacIntyre, WorldWinner CEO. “In addition to the launch of our first bilingual game, Lotería Fantástica , and anniversary celebration tournaments and prizes, players will notice a smoother, faster, and more optimized gameplay experience as we have been working behind the scenes to launch a brand new technology platform to ensure that WorldWinner continues to be the destination of choice for cash-based competitive gaming entertainment for years to come.”
Lotería Fantástica and other WorldWinner hosted games are available now on iOS and Android. Check back later for more news here on Harcore Droid.
