SNK confirmed that Marco Rodrigues is making a grand return to the roster of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves after his last playable appearance nearly 25 years ago. Fatal Fury's comeback was welcomed, as the series hasn't had a new entry in over two decades. This Fatal Fury revival was first announced at EVO 2022, which later got a teaser trailer at the 2023 EVO tournament. SNK then fully revealed the game as Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, along with some members of its roster and a release window of 2025. With the series having been out of the spotlight for nearly 25 years, some fighters from the game's roster will be coming back, like Marco Rodrigues.
Marco Rodrigues first made his debut in SNK's Garou: Mark of the Wolves, which was first released in 1999. Due to SNK's early English localization efforts, some fans may know him by his changed name, Khushnood Butt, though starting with more recent games this change has been reverted. He was a practitioner of Kyokugen Karate in Garou: Mark of the Wolves, meaning he has a lot of familiar moves from Ryo Sakazaki and Marco. While Marco Rodrigues has made several cameo appearances in other SNK fighters like The King of Fighters series, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves marks the first time that Marco Rodrigues has been a part of a game's playable roster since his debut.
After the conclusion of The King of Fighters 15's grand finals at the EVO Japan 2024 fighting game tournament, SNK showed off a new trailer for Marco Rodrigues' appearance in City of the Wolves. A lot of moves from the character's appearance in the first Garou: Mark of the Wolves game are used here, such as his Kohouken, Hienshippukyaku, and Ryuusenken, with his Zanretsuken seemingly re-purposed into City of the Wolves' REV Blow mechanic. He can be seen demonstrating these moves against a returning Tizoc, who was previously featured in City of the Wolves' reveal trailer.
SNK also gave a brief summary of Marco's story in City of the Wolves, where he is the assistant instructor of the Kyokugen Karate dojo and fighting style, disciple of King of Fighters regular Ryo Sakazaki. After his dojo's sign gets stolen, Marco has to continue training in another place, Yuri Sakazaki's Fitness club. Marco Rodrigues is played by Kenichirou Matsuda in Japanese and Earl Baylon in English.
Marco Rodrigues was a highly-requested fighter to make a return in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, with many wanting to see his familiar pompadour and hard-hitting karate moves. With Marco confirmed to be back in the game's roster, fans are hoping SNK can bring in other fighters from the original Mark of the Wolves game, like B. Jenet and Hotaru Futaba.

Apple officially discontinued its entire iPod range in 2022, leaving behind memories of a revolutionary product that strongly impacted the music and technology industry. It made little sense to continue selling these devices, as the company giant was selling iPhones in the millions, and its handsets could pretty much do everything the iPod could and more. However, there was a time when Microsoft founder Bill Gates was not so optimistic about Apple’s future with its music player family, stating that it could not sustain the iPod’s success, but there was a reason for these bold claims, as you will soon find out.
There was a 16-year gap between the 1990 release of Final Fantasy III on Famicom and its 2006 remake on Nintendo DS, and a 31-year gap before the Pixel Remaster brought something more akin to the original game to a new platform. That might be because the original game's legendary programmer was so good nobody could replicate his code.
Back in 2007, alert fans of fantasy grand master Peter Beagle had a very short window of time to get excited about the announcement of his latest novel, I’m Afraid You’ve Got Dragons. The book was abruptly pulled from the release schedule, reportedly because of Beagle’s conflict with publisher Penguin USA over a new edition of his best-known book, The Last Unicorn.
Elden Ring fans have discovered an old tweet on the game's official Twitter page that seemingly references the upcoming Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Minikit from the video games has finally been released in real life. The Minikit first appeared 19 years ago in 2005's as a collectible item and became a mainstay in the series' future titles. There were 10 hidden Minikits in each level — and 60 per Episode — that could form a miniature LEGO recreation of an iconic ship once players had acquired them all, with using them as a way to unlock extra playable characters as well.

Though he has only recently joined the fight in Overwatch 2, Mauga is a hero that fans had been aware of for years prior to his appearance as a playable character, and some of his early concepts still have the potential to appear in the game as skins for the Samoan tank hero. Though Mauga still hasn't got all that many cosmetics available to him in Overwatch 2 due to his relatively recent addition to the game, many fans feel this is all the more reason Blizzard should consider giving him some new outfits based on the character's popular early concepts.
