Funko Pops are all well and good, but sometimes, every now and again, you really just want someone to turn your favorite video game characters into collectible rubber ducks. If you don't, then you really should, and you will after you learn about Tubbz. Tubbz are duck versions of video game characters from throughout history, and Like A Dragon's Goro Majima is one of the latest characters to receive the Tubbz treatment.
Yakuza fans will know that Majima has a lot of instantly recognizable traits. His eyepatch, his jacket, and his tattoos just to name a few. A glimpse at any one of those is all any Like A Dragon fan would need to identify The Mad Dog of Shimano, even when the character has been turned into a duck. Not only does Majima's Tubbz have all three of those, but the collectible also has the Yakuza's signature haircut and is wielding a bloodstained knife.
The Majima Tubbz is pulling a knife from its sheath, a menacing look on its face as it likely stares directly into the eyes of someone who is about to meet their maker. That Tubbz has managed to capture Majima's personality in duck form just goes to show how good the company is at what it does. You can pre-order the Majima Tubbz figure through the links in the box below, and it's estimated to release during Q2 2024, so hopefully not long to wait.
This collectible TUBBZ duck features the likeness of Goro Majima, beloved star of Sega's Yakuza/Like A Dragon series of games.
The gaps between Like A Dragon games are so short that the series is always being talked about. However, it has been discussed more than usual in 2024 due to the release of Infinite Wealth. The latest installment in the main series and one of the most celebrated to date. The Anti Social Social Club launched an official range of merch to celebrate its release. No Majima on them though, just Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu.
Majima now joins Kiryu Like A Dragon's Tubbz collection. Kiryu's figure has the Yakuza in his iconic grey suit, about to hit some poor guy who looked at him funny with a bike. There's a lot more than just Like A Dragon ducks in Tubbz's collection. Its extensive Sonic collection was made even bigger last month when it launched miniature versions of the blue blur and his buddies who already had their own Tubbz figures.

PlayStation suggested earlier this year that the Silent Hill 2 remake would be out sometime in 2024, but other than repeated assurances that the game is in the final stages of development, neither Konami nor developer Bloober Team have said anything at all about a launch date. Recent developments have, however, indicated that that could change in the not-too-distant future.
Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known by her online moniker Amouranth, has been banned from Twitch yet again. While the development marks her ninth Twitch ban to date, this particular suspension could either be permanent or lead to her leaving the platform for good regardless, with Amouranth already suggesting as much.

If you're an MMORPG fan who's been waiting patiently for news of Riot Game's swing at the genre, then I'm afraid you'll probably have to wait quite a while longer. Riot co-founder Marc Merrill announced that the project has been "reset" and won't appear for "likely several years", with one of the main reasons being a "need to do something that truly feels like a significant evolution of the genre".
It's been over three years since Riot officially started working on the long-rumored League of Legends MMO. Back then, the team was led by former Age of Empires and World of Warcraft designer Greg Street, who has since left Riot to found his own studio and start another MMO project; for more about that, head to my lengthy interview with Greg.
