Life simulation RPG Our Life on Water announced for PC

D3 Publisher has announced 5-fun Go ni Igai na Ketsumatsu: Monochrome no Toshokan, a “sound novel” game based on the five million-selling 5-fun Go ni Igai na Ketsumatsu book series. It will launch for Switch on February 22, 2024 in Japan for 5,555 yen at retail and 5,000 yen via download.

FILMIC NOVEL and sprite will release romance visual novels Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue – EXTRA1P and Aokana: Four Rhythms Across the Blue – EXTRA2P for PlayStation 4, the developers announced. Both titles will launch digitally between late December 2023 and late January 2024 in Japan.

Developer FluidFury Interactive has announced Quantic River, a 2.5D action game set in a cyberpunk world. It will be available for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. A release date was not announced. A Kickstarter campaign is also planned.

PC Gamer’s next PC Gaming Show premieres November 30th at 9:30 AM PST, but it’s not the usual showcase. PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted is a “ranked countdown of the 25 most exciting unreleased PC games.” Over 50 industry professionals, critics and content creators in a “special voting process” have decided on the line-up.

Developer Youyuan has announced Arisen Force: Vonimir, a fantasy action RPG coming to PC via Steam in Q4 2024, followed by PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch in 2025. A demo is available now via Steam. A Kickstarter campaign seeking approximately $15,000 in funding is also live.

Developer Armonica has announced Detective Instinct: Farewell, My Beloved, a detective adventure game in the style of classic adventure games from Japan. It will launch for PC via Steam in 2024.

SEGA has announced Virtua Fighter 3tb Online for arcade. It will launch on November 28 in Japan.

Every Christmas, my family refuses to believe that all I really want is a gift card for the PlayStation store or Nintendo E-Shop. A present needs to be more than an envelope or a voucher code, they tell me. Softstar Entertainment has announced Tales of Three Kingdoms: The Mortal World, a 2.5D turn-based RPG coming to PC via Steam in 2024.

MyDearest and IzanagiGames have announced TOKYO CHRONOS & ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos – Twin Pack for Switch. It will launch in 2024 worldwide.

Valve has confirmed that the Steam Autumn Sale 2023 will begin on November 21st at 10 AM PST and end on November 28th. As one of the big seasonal sales for the storefront, several titles will go on sale (though more recent releases may skip out). Check out the announcement trailer below.
