Lego has been teasing a team-up to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons for the past month, starting with its gelatinous cube teaser with various D&D items turned into Lego inside it. Now we know exactly what the first collaboration between the two massive brands is going to look like. Lego has revealed its Red Dragon's Tale set, and there's not long to wait until you can center your very own game night around it, particularly if you're a Lego Insider.
Lego Insiders will be able to order the D&D set from April 1, while everyone else will have to wait until April 4. Made up of 3,745 pieces, the Red Dragon's Tale set includes a tavern - with a detachable roof - a dungeon, and a tower. Oh, and a massive red dragon, of course, hence the set's name. Sure, including a Dungeon and a dragon in what will likely be the first of many D&D Lego sets might be a little on the nose, but it looks fantastic.
The dragon can wrap itself around the tower when complete, and you'll be provided with Minifigures with which you will be able to fend off the firebreathing beast, an Orc Rogue and Elf Wizard among them. The set will also include an owlbear Minifigure which, if Baldur's Gate 3 has taught me anything, will be the most popular part of this entire set despite the impressive and elaborate dragon you'll be tasked with building upon arrival.
Lego's first team-up with Dungeons & Dragons resulted in this, the Red Dragon's Tale set. Made up of 3,745 pieces and including six Minifigures, the set was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic roleplaying game.
The Red Dragon's Tale set will cost $359.99 when it goes on sale next month, and you can check out all the finer details through the link in the box above. That's also the store page through which you'll be able to place orders once they go live for Insiders on April 1, and everyone else on April 4. In addition to the new Lego set, D&D can also pick up a new Lego Adventure book as a free download, or as a physical paperback book for 2,700 Insider Points.
Lego isn't only helping D&D celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2024, it's also celebrating a milestone of its own. It has been 25 years since the toy brick company teamed up with Star Wars for the first time and it will be releasing several new sets throughout the year to mark the occasion. It's also rumored Lego will be releasing its first Zelda set sometime this year, and a Mario Kart x Lego crossover has already been confirmed for 2025.

When is the next Lego Fortnite update?
The V29.10 update dropped on March 26, adding a whole host of vehicles for players to build. It's called the Mechanical Mayhem patch, which also addresses some of the more persistent bugs that've been present since launch. Expect to unlock new vehicle parts which can be used to get around in style.
