It finally happened – Jennifer English, Shadowheart's actor in Baldur's Gate 3, has reached the iconic fight scene between her high half-elf and the Githyanki warrior Lae'zel, which she and her real-life partner have hailed as "the most sapphic scene" in the game. 

Still Wakes the Deep, the promising-looking narrative horror game set on an oil rig, will launch for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 18th June.

The console wars are a tale as old as time—or at least as old as the point when games consoles from multiple companies came onto the market. In some very exciting news, Apple's new mixed reality headset, Vision Pro was used to perform surgery at the Cromwell Hospital in the UK. The doctor utilized the VR headset to provide navigation throughout the spine surgery of a male patient. The Apple Vision Pro headset helped to adhere to the right surgical process and use the perfect tools for the job to perform the surgery successfully. A series constant, Final Fantasy's Moogle is a familiar sight to many, and along with the Chocobo, serves as a mascot of sorts for the franchise. But the busted-looking Moogle we got in the recently released Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has been rejected by a particular segment of the community, who are convinced the gritty redesign looks more like Matthew McConaughey playing a drug mule named Miguel than a fantastical portmanteau of mole and bat.

We all love spotting references in games, especially if you manage to find something a bit niche, but when it comes to obscurity, it'd be hard to top this clever nod to a mysterious Final Fantasy 7 fight in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. 

When we first saw Capcom's upcoming action strategy game Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess at last year's Xbox Games Showcase, there wasn't much to say other than that the game looks gorgeous. Thanks to last night's Xbox Partner showcase, we now know that it's a blend of Japanese mythology, sword-fights, Pikmin and tower defense.

Capcom has released a new trailer for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, their intriguing action strategy game that is coming out later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC – it’ll be day one on Xbox Game Pass, as well.
