Kingmakers has the best twist on medieval warfare ever

Animation was the butt of the joke at this year's Oscars ceremony, but one high-profile director/producer had the perfect response to the poorly received joke from host Jimmy Kimmel. 

Over the years, there have been many games, all with a variety of different items. Some items only make an appearance once, and others are seen throughout the franchise. With items doing different things, it's hard to know which one is best and how to use it in the best possible way. Items can help to attack other opponents, defend, or get players from 12th place to 1st quickly, but some items do a lot more than just that.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is right around the corner, and with the original currently on sale for $5, there's never been a better time to play the cult classic. 

Among its many highlights, FinalFantasy VII Rebirth makes simple sidequests a lot more engaging than I had expected. Take an early-game sidequest called When Words Won’t Do. On a surface level, it’s a simple escort mission where players must get a dog from Under Junon to Crow’s Nest unscathed. I did not initially have high hopes for this sidequest due to the poor reputation of escort missions; thankfully, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth defied that fate. To make this optional content more worthwhile, Square Enix gave it a strong narrative backbone.

Finding ways to level up members of your party fast in is the best way to deal with various challenges found throughout your adventure. As enemies and bosses get stronger in later story Chapters, your team needs to be prepared for tougher fights. Taking the time to farm EXP through different tasks will let your party grow in strength to face future obstacles head-on.

A printing error with the physical Japanese release of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth means the discs have the wrong labels on them.

Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones finally launched earlier this month after years of delays and development issues, but the online pirate game was, predictably enough, met with less-than-stellar reviews upon release. On the commercial front, the full extent of how the game is performing isn’t yet clear, but at least in terms of average engagement per user, it seems to be doing well enough.
