Today, on the sixth anniversary of the launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Warhorse Studios has revealed to fans that the first-person open world action roleplaying game has now sold over six million units. Warhorse had conducted a pre-release Kickstarter campaign where fans pledged £1,106,371; the crowdfunding later continued on the official website to surpass $2 million raised. The Czech studio then signed a publishing deal with Deep Silver. It was later discovered that the total budget (including marketing) was around $36.5 million.
The game's previous sales milestones are one million units a week after launch, three million units in June 2020, and five million units in June 2022. On the second occasion, the developer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance also announced it had started hiring for a new project, with the goal of getting to a headcount of 180 employees by 2021. By then, THQ Nordic (Embracer Group) had already acquired Warhorse.

Xbox are set to make some big changes to their business strategy, and while they’re bringing some of their previously exclusive games to other platforms, they’re continuing to build on the popularity of their Game Pass service in the most obvious way possible, by bringing Activision Blizzard games to the service. That starts with the release of Diablo IV on March 28th.
With Activision Blizzard now officially part of Xbox, it was obviously going to be only a matter of time before its games started appearing on Game Pass. That process is set to kick off on March 28, with Diablo 4 being the first game to join the service– but though the action RPG is joining the service’s catalog, it turns out not all subscribers are going to be able to dive in.
