As one of the most anticipated games of the year, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is expected to perform well in sales. According to Christopher Dring of Games Industry, it debuted “comfortably” at the top on this week’s UK physical charts and is the fourth biggest boxed launch in the region this year.

While Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 topped the UK physical charts for the week, Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. Wonder still performed well. It debuted second in the region and is already the fifth biggest physical launch of the year, right behind the superhero title, per Chris Dring of Games Industry on Twitter.

Netflix has a new number one show as time-bending murder mystery Bodies tops the streaming list. Starring Stephen Graham, the crime thriller series is set across four timelines as four detectives end up investigating the same murder.

The United Kingdom is urging companies like Apple, Samsung, and Google to find a solution to prevent phone thefts in London. The idea is to make it harder for thieves to steal phones in the first place, so they can't easily sell them. This request was made by London Mayor Sadiq Khan and police chief Sir Mark Rowley during a recent meeting. They spoke to Apple and told them that they should find a viable solution that would stop making iPhones such a lucrative target for thieves.

Ahead of the deal's closure, Activision Blizzard confirmed on Twitter that the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and newly-launched Diablo IV won't be coming to Game Pass soon, but Spencer's statement covers older titles as well.
