Hogwarts Legacy and Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon have swapped positions with one another to hand the Harry Potter simulator a top spot in the latest UK physical sales charts, while FromSoftware's mech game slips to fifth. The only new entry this week is at least an interesting one: the Premium Edition Upgrade for Starfield. This is a code in a box that grants five days of early access to the Bethesda RPG as well as the first story expansion, and it managed to rank seventh last week.

We had a great time with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor when it arrived earlier this year, but let's be honest, the technical performance wasn't great. The game's performance mode, which targeted 60 frames-per-second at a reduced resolution, was inconsistent, and it even struggled to keep it locked to 30 if you used the quality mode. Today, Respawn Entertainment has just released a new patch that aims to smooth out a lot of these issues.

First confirmed during this year's PlayStation Showcase, developer Hadoque has shared a fresh look at the psychedelic PS5, PS4 indie game Ultros. Konami has confirmed the PS4 remasters of the first two Suikoden games will no longer release this year as the studio needs more time to «ensure the quality performance and gameplay experience our users deserve». A new date has not been announced, but it's now expected in 2024 alongside its spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.

With August out of the way, we find ourselves nearing the business end of the year when it comes to game releases. Thankfully, for PlayStation 5 and PS4 owners, there's plenty to be excited about over the next couple of months.

Overwatch 2 has had a fairly rough go of it since launch, but since coming to Steam, Blizzard has been struggling with a fresh PR disaster. Thanks to Steam's detailed, egalitarian analytics, it became the platform's "Worst Game of All Time", which is a pretty tough moniker to spin into a positive.

Delta Force is a series of military FPS shooters which began all the way back in 1998 and came to PlayStation with PS1's Urban Warfare (the fifth game in the franchise). Creator NovaLogic shuttered back in 2016, and its assets were acquired by THQ Nordic, which in turn, was swallowed by a bigger fish, the Embracer Group. Now, a pre-Gamescom teaser has revealed the series will live again and is set to be fully revealed at Gamescom's Opening Night Live.

The classic PS1 first-person shooter Star Wars: Dark Forces is being resurrected on the PS5 and PS4 – almost 30 years after it first released. The game – which originally launched on MS-DOS – is being remastered by Nightdive Studios, which is using its proprietary KEX Engine to rebuild the original in 4K resolution at up to 120 frames-per-second.

One of those games on the horizon that looks too good to be true, Black Myth: Wukong has reappeared with a new gameplay trailer. An action RPG loosely based on Journey to the West, it looks like a very promising Souls-like.
