January’s top PlayStation Store downloads have been revealed

Sony has revealed January 2024’s most downloaded PlayStation Store games.
It has published separate top 20 charts for PS5 and PS4 titles in both the US/Canada and Europe, plus top ten charts for PlayStation VR games, PlayStation VR2 titles and free-to-play games.
Modern Warfare 3 was the most downloaded PS5 game in North America, followed by Grand Theft Auto 5, which topped European PS5 downloads ahead of the latest Call of Duty game.
New release Tekken 8 charted at No.4 in the US/Canada and No.5 in Europe, while Prince of Persia The Lost Crown debuted at No.19 and No.13 respectively.
Minecraft topped PS4 downloads in North America, while EA Sports FC 24 led the way in Europe.
Blockbusters from 2023 and 2024 scored big in January's game charts.
