Rocksteady Studios’ long anticipated Arkhamverse sequel Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be available to play for those who have preordered it on Jan 30, and to the public at large on its official release date of Feb. 2.

As Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League nears its launch, developer Rocksteady has confirmed that the game's post-launch DLC will bring iconic DC villain Joker as a playable character. The studio made the announcement Monday in the third episode of its Suicide Squad Insider developer diary series, detailing its plans for delivering free post-launch seasonal content to players who buy the game, multiversal concepts and a few multiplayer features that will be present at launch. According to Rocksteady, each post-launch season will feature two episodes and will follow the theme of a DC villain, bringing new ways to play. The new announcement follows the developers teasing hundreds of character builds and distinct loadouts earlier this month.

Rocksteady Studios’ Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will send DC villains Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark on a mission to put a bunch of good guys out of their mind-controlled misery next month. But the Suicide Squad team won’t be limited to just those four playable characters; The Joker is up next, and he’ll be brought back to life thanks to Rocksteady’s use of the multiverse — or as DC Comics has called it for the past 35 years, Elseworlds.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady’s multiplayer Destiny-like with DC villains, will fill the conspicuously Joker-shaped hole in its rogues’ gallery of Batman baddies in March with the launch of the live service game’s first season of free post-launch content.

Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ) 2024 has wrapped after a nonstop weeklong speedrunning marathon. This year’s charity raised over $2.5 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Microsoft’s second (hopefully annual?) Xbox Developer Direct went, like the first, exceptionally well. While we didn’t get a shadow-dropped killer exclusive – and let’s be honest, that’s not an expectation that Team Xbox probably wants to set – we did still get the surprise of a behind-the-scenes look at Square Enix’s upcoming Visions of Mana. Better yet, we got a good look at gameplay from Obsidian’s upcoming first-person RPG Avowed, we got the Hellblade 2 release date we’ve been waiting for, and best of all, we got the proper reveal of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the new first-person (!) action/adventure/puzzler/whip-simulator that’s being executive produced by Elder Scrolls and Fallout director Todd Howard. I’m extremely pleased with Microsoft’s showing, and it helps set the tone for what should be a very good year of Xbox exclusives.

It's official: we've finally gotten our first look at the upcoming Indiana Jones game from Wolfenstein developer MachineGames: it's called Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and it's out later this year.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the January 2021-announced Indiana Jones game from publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer MachineGames, will launch for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2024, the companies announced. It will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.

It was a staple game on tablets about ten years ago. We remember everyone playing Plants Vs Zombies back then, and, along with its sequel and various spinoffs, it's still an immensely popular mobile game today.
