Blizzard has addressed an issue where players could get certain Season 3 PvP rewards too early this week with Season 2 currencies, like Trophies of Strife.
Yes.Shortly after maintenance on Wednesday, we applied a hotfix that inadvertently caused certain rewards from the upcoming PvP season to become available to players purchasable with Season 2 currencies, specifically Trophies of Strife and the optional reagents used to add PvP item level onto crafted items. We have since deployed a fix for that situation and want to clarify what to expect for players who may have acquired them.
Additionally, we’d like to take this opportunity to clarify a couple things going into the new season.

While Blizzard did state they won't be revealing Realm names ahead of Season of Discovery's launch, the Seasonal Realm list is currently viewable on Classic Era Realms. Players can see there will be four NA realms, all currently named «A Realm» with one being a Normal PvE realm, two PvP realms, and one RP-PvP realm, which Blizzard did say they would be making.

According to Blizzard, name reservations prior to the launch of Season of Discovery are not planned. Unlike during Classic's and Season of Mastery's launch back in 2019 and 2021, players won't be able to reserve their favorite name in advance this time around. Blizzard has posted hotfixes for today which includes some bug fixes to raids and classes!
