Farming the right materials for Robin’s character Ascension in is a necessary step when optimizing her as a support unit for your various team comps. Robin is a 5-star support unit added with Version 2.2 and, within the story, she is a well-known pop star from the planet of Penacony. She is Sunday’s sister and a member of the Oak Family in the Planet of Festivities. Robin is one of the new characters in 2.2, along with the DPS Boothill. In combat, she uses Physical DMG and follows the Path of the Harmony.
Robin specializes in two main support-based skills when aiding her team. The first is buffing their offensive properties. She does so by boosting the damage they deal against enemies and increasing their ATK and their CRIT DMG. In addition to that, Robin also forwards her allies’ actions when she uses her Ultimate, a skill that is constantly available through her increased Energy Regeneration when fully Ascended. Her abilities are well-appreciated in a variety of different team comps but, before adding her to any of your parties, you will need to farm Robin’s Ascension materials in.
Farming the proper materials for Robin is not all too difficult, as the majority of them were already available in the game prior to her release as a playable unit and, as such, it is quite possible that you had a stock of some of the items. If not, however, it is still easy to gather them through various means. The first items you need to collect, which will also be used to level her Traces in are Dream Collection Component and its evolved forms, Dream Flow Valve and Dream Making Engine, respectively.
The table below lists the total materials you need to farm for Robin, also divided per Ascension threshold:

Dream Collection Component, Dream Flow Valve, and Dream Making Engine drop from Dreamjolt Troupe enemies in Penacony. You may defeat these types of opponents within the Simulated Universe and also gather the materials. A great and steady source of them stems from daily Assignments. The best way to farm them, however, is to challenge Calyx (Golden) activities in Penacony. While the main resources are Credits, Character EXP Materials, or Light Cone EXP Materials, the Dream-based items drop since the opponents include Dreamjolt Troupe creatures in. Not many are required, but you’ll need a surplus for her Traces.
The second type of material you need to farm is called IPC Work Permit. This is an item that was impossible to farm before Robin’s release, as it is also a Version 2.2

New leaks about 2.3 have hinted at a potential update to the Simulated Universe and, with it, a memorable new boss fight. Simulated Universe is a weekly roguelike activity found in Herta Space Station, where players choose a World to challenge and go through randomized maps and enemies before facing a fixed boss at the end. After completing the tougher encounters, players get to farm Planar Ornaments, which are key items for every character – they are, for instance, crucial for Aventurine’s build in .
@Shigurui Awesome damage stats. Shame it doesn't say which team we used to achieve it. I'd like to know if it was just my guys and who or if it was with a support character.
Honkai: Star Rail has revealed a batch of content, including warp events, enemies, and combat stages, that will be released in version 2.2 next month. Honkai: Star Rail recently celebrated its anniversary, giving away free pulls players can use on limited banners. Players should completely skip pulling for both Robin and Boothill in 2.2 and, instead, pull for some of the game’s older characters. Robin and Boothill are the new playable units arriving with the next patch. Both of them were confirmed by developer HoYoverse a while back, but the details about them and how they play have finally been revealed. Their kits had been abundantly described in the several 2.2 leaks and rumors and it is now confirmed that most of the information was true. Robin is a support unit, while Boothill is a DPS.

Honkai: Star Rail has recently announced a new time-limited event that gives away triple Cavern Relic rewards. Events in Honkai: Star Rail occur every month, allowing players to farm relics and upgrade materials. Some festivities take place in a separate dimension and set Trailblazers against enemies, while others usually involve exploration and character dialogue. Completing events is a common activity for many players, like re-fighting bosses and collecting treasure chests in newly released locations.
@Judal27 Really solid stats especially as @Shigurui said if it's on the character menu screen which it appears it is from your later comment. ATK is v. high.
After Aventurine’s event banner recently went live in Honkai: Star Rail, miHoYo has confirmed that Version 2.2’s Special Program livestream will air on April 26th at 4:30 AM PST. It will introduce new characters, Boothill and Robin while previewing the next main storyline, events and other rewards.
A Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed that players will take on a revised lineup in Memory of Chaos. These dungeon-like domains are where players can farm materials to ascend their characters and Light Cones.
